“Very serious.”, she responded.
“Enough to make you give up on all else that lives?”, he wondered with a deafening concern.
“Who says I did?”, Dana stared wide-eyed.
“You do.”, he accused confidently.
“Wow!”, she shrugged with a light smile, clearly at a loss for words.
“Uh…that probably came out wrong…”, he said when she did nothing else but stare and sink into thought. “…and am sorry.”, he added, looking into her troubled face.
“It is well.”, she exhaled with a light shrug of shoulders.
“I would like to be someone you can talk to, heart to heart, sparing no thought or fear.”, he said with an awkward seriousness after moments of silence and thought from the two of them. For the resilience on the boldness and courage, it was kudos to the jungle man from me.
