The trail was starting to go cold, and Mic was losing his patience with Dimitri. Were his tracking abilities failing him? Dimitri kept boasting about how he was the best, and Mic knew he was, but he would never admit to it.
Lilith was quickly proving though that maybe Dimitri had met his match. Every time the thought they were closing in on them it would lead to another dead end. It wouldn't have bothered Mic to still be out but being out here with Dimitri was testing his patience.
"That stupid brat. I don't get why Leo even wants her back." Dimitri scoffed looking out the window, "He should have just killed her and been done with it. She has only been a headache to him and everyone else." Dimitri kept droning on making Mic want to fling himself from the vehicle letting it crash.
