Alec woke up slowly from the bed and his eyes darted around frantically when he couldn't feel his husband lying next to him. Only when he looked around the room he remembered that it was his room and not their room.  It has been a week now since the opening. His hands weren't healed completely, but the constant pain was long gone. What kept on hurting him even more the last few days was the fact that Jasper didn't even inquire what happened to him when he saw his bandaged hand. It was as if they were strangers living under the same roof. Neither one of them dared to speak and their contact was as brief as a falling star. The only time they saw each other was in the Stigma, when they had to work together over something. They planned their whole routine even without talking with each other
