Geminis Birthday Week

Welcome to the best week of the year, we just saw what Mom as planned, since we are the last ones this year to do 17, she asked the Alpha if the pack wanted to join the festivities, so it will be some days the pack and us, and other days family day.

It’s the beginning of August big days, lots of sunny days.

1st Day – Saturday when my brother was born.

This marks the beginning of the festivities we have a Kart Party, the pack built a Kart Circuit in the old warehouse we have, they spend 3 days renovation the warehouse, the ceiling was all glass, doing the V up to the sky, lights going up in the beams, the sides of the warehouse had slid open big door, the kart track was cemented, and had the proper adjustments for security, werewolves like to ride fast, so we had to take care of all the protections. Lucky for us, we are a little every here in the human world, so it was easy to find the materials and have proper workers for them. When the day arrived, we had barbecues on the outside, all the Omegas were bringing food to a big wood table built for the occasion.

We had a lot of fun, everyone passed a fun day, always people coming and going along the day to have fun, the pack was all there at some point when we bring out a Big Cake in the form of a kart, and we sing my brother anniversary song, it was a day to remember. He was incredibly happy, at the beginning of the night, when he shifted for the first and went for a run with the pack. I was the only one noticing that when he came back, he was side by side with Lin wolf. I smiled, I already knew.  My brother's wolf is called Kygo, and his wolf form is dark brown, with black socks in the front paws, and the muzzle, jawline also black, it was beautiful to see it, and I got anxious to see mine for the first time.

2nd Day – Sunday

The next day was Movie Night, the pack, built an outside movie theatre, in the training area. They even got food vendors, popcorn machines, cotton candy, hot dogs, and a lot of other foods, it almost felt like a Carnival. Everything was prepared in the morning. We spend the lunchtime eating in the stalls, going around the packed ground, doing games.

At dinner time, we picked up the hot dogs and got to the Cinema area, we enter and pick up a big round beach towel to put on the ground and we all 4 cuddle in it, eating. After the hot dog's father went to pick popcorns.

The movie session started, they put 3 movies, one action, one comedy and the last one for the lasts resistant was a love film, the kids saw the first one, then must off them was asleep by the middle of the movie, not even the blast, cars flying around, wake them up, the second movie was for the teenagers and adults laugh until they cannot take it anymore, and on the last one the teenagers started to leave, I notice that Alan got up and sat in a new towel with Lin.

I lift a brow at them, and he smiles at me. ‘Good company bro?’ I see him blush hard. ‘I told you I did not have to tell you.’ Winking an eye at him. His eyes widen at what I said, and he looks at Lin that was already cuddling at him a smile as big as his face, the love in his eyes told everything I need to know. ‘Thanks, Sis.’

I just smile at him. Looking over, everyone was cuddling up to someone, Taya glued herself at Alec, I rolled my eyes, I saw Asli standing up and going home.

All the mated couples stayed, but the difference was big between the ones that I knew are True Mates, and the Chosen Mates some of them did not stay, that told me a lot, I got a little bit sad, I know the feelings aren’t the same. My Mom and Dad were already started making out and the movie has not started yet, I decided that it was better to leave their side, seeing your parents making out, well gross. I decided to go back home to sleep and try not to have nightmares with them.

3rd Day – Monday

Today was family day, Dad, Mom, Me, Alan. They woke us up early and told us to bring fresh clothes, that we are going on a picnic. We went to a nearby area that we already know is a natural (well sort of natural) swimming pool with tables and benches for a picnic.

The swimming pool is naturally carved by nature with rocks, the Alpha told us, that one of the Alphas turned it into a pool, but tried to maintain most of nature, in one part you can see a lot of rocks, naturally cascading, they adapted so that the water comes down the rocks, the entrance stairs to the pool are all across the hexagonal pool, the area around is like we come out from the water directly to the grass like you just go naturally, they only have a small area around where the water goes, before the grass, but unless you pay close attention you can’t even see the artificial part of the pool, where the water circulates.

Inside the pool only the floor you can see was adapted to a pool one, the rest is all made the most natural possible, even the picnic tables are carved in rocks, to give us shadow all the tables had a natural Carya illinoinensis (Pecan Tree). We had a blast, almost all day in the water, Alan even shifted and jump on the water, which made my Mom a fit, because she was in the water when he jumped in, it was a good day, and we stayed until the sun was down.

4th Day – Tuesday

After Lunch, Dad and Mom called us and presented us with two new Mountain Bikes, we were thrilled, got up to get dressed, protections and everything. The four of us went riding the bicycle in the woods, we had tracks because it was a very good exercise to do when we are pup’s, lets us also see a larger part of the woods, sometimes I would see some wolfs running beside us, every time we passed a guardhouse.

I recognize one of the wolf warrior/guards and waved at him, almost making me go against a tree, but my reflexes made me pass it nearly. My father always mind link ahead, the wolfs were just protecting along the way, but I would always open my mind link to them, that they would know that there are helping in the fun. Sometimes I race some of them to the next mark, and they let me win every time, I laugh saying thanks. I liked most everyone in the pack, and the guard and warriors always got easy attached to me, since I was little.

5th Day – Wednesday

Today is Paintball Pack Day, only the warriors and guards were off this, first, we did a Young Vs Old, and they kicked our ass, well what did you expect, the Alpha, Beta, Gama, were on that team. I did not find it fair.

In the second round we did by sorting a leader and they picked the team, the straws landed on me and Alec, and it was tense. On his side he picked the Alpha, then the beta family, then Taya family, Tory family, Talia family, almost as he was picking the ones that will be with him when he becomes Alpha and I smirk at that because that was not even a tactic, was just sucking up to them. My brother helped me in the mind link, and I selected by tactic, like the faster, the best at hiding, the ones that will be used to distract like his mother that he forgot to pick, I choose in an instant. That was the longest round ever, the T squad was all out in the first 15 minutes, too easy to spot, but the Alphas was not that easy. In the end, it was I, Alan, my Father, the Luna that I hide to the end so we put the last strategy to work. I and Luna were already near the flag, but the Alpha was on protection, my father was in our flag with Alan hidden. I knew that the Alpha was alone, probably Alec made the rest of the team go with him to our flag, feeling that we are outnumbered, I also know that the Alpha can sense the Luna around so I made use of it, I signal Luna, and she went for it, and got shot down near the flag making the distraction to work, started crying saying that it hurt and made the Alpha run to her, and I catch the flag, the exact moment, Alec was shooting my dad and Alan was shooting Alec. My victory Growl made them look behind, the flag was ours, and Alec was not happy at all, the Alpha only smiled at the trick, and the Luna kissed him.

We went to eat at the large table near the warehouse, like the kart day, we talked about the victory, how the old ones kick our ass, but on the second the tactic worked, Alec was pissed all day. He disappeared for a while, and when got back he had the biggest smile, I saw Taya coming a little after liking her mouth. Want to guess what happened? She looked at me and gave me an evil smirk. A future Alpha caught by his d**k, that is just what the pack needs. That is something I can’t change, my only hope is that someday he will understand that Asli is his soul mate and that she can change him, they say Destined Mates bring out the best in both of them, I was hoping so.

In the afternoon after we all rested talking at the table, we went for the last game of the day, the ultimate game Boys Vs Girls that included Man and Women, that game was very bad the girls lost, because we had traitors between us, we had the perfect plan. When we were about to get the flag, the boy's team appeared almost in force and caught us all, I saw the T Squad smiling, and new that they sabotage the tactic, even the others could tell, what they did. They were all the way telling the ones that were out when we thought the numbers were reduced we attacked, but they were all there waiting for us, I got so mad especially since Alec made me a winning smile went next to Taya, said something to her ear and she laughs, we were completely framed. We all went back to take a bath and dinner was around the corner, after I went to my bedroom and cried, Lin and Asli came up a little after me and caught me trying to hide the tears. They came each one at my side we just bashed on those woman traitors until we all fell asleep in my bed. I was so tired, I didn’t even sense when their fathers came to pick them up from my bedroom, and my Mom put me correctly on the bed.

6th Day – Thursday

Tomorrow is my birthday, today part of the pack is going camping near the lake, there is a part of the lake with a dock that we can all jump from, we got there and all the young went straight jumping on the dock, leaving the parents with the tent and tablets. Since we are a pack, the omegas were building the table and tent to eat, they had some warriors helping with it, other pack members were doing the big tents to pass the night my father helped some, while my mother helped to bring the food, the Alpha and Luna were just watching and overseeing everything, ordering, sometimes helping, but mostly organizing the pack so that everyone did something, that is one of the reasons I think Alpha Oscar is a great Alpha, he may not believe in me, but still he was a great leader for the pack. Sometimes I think that if Alec was not involved in the next Chosen Mate Ball, maybe he would believe me, but his son came first from the rest of us. I sigh and turn to the water and jump at it, the cold was great in our warm skin, perfect to cool down the wolfs in us. They left the young have a good time while they put everything up, we are going to stay here until my birthday. The day was passing by eating, playing games, playing cards, reading, eating, and at night we did a little fire and sat telling stories about the war, the packs they met, there is one that catches my attention, they called it the Nightfall Pack, and was the most promising pack, the only one that had members as CEO’s of big companies they are very rich, the only problem is that their Alphas has to be chosen every few years. I got curious and asked why they told us that the Alphas never mated. Since Alpha can’t keep it together without a mate, they went crazy after a while, some were killed by the pack, so they have a rule, if the Alpha rejects being mated 5 years after they ascend, they have to leave the post to another Alpha. I asked what happened to the Alphas that step down, they said that they do not know, is not easy for an Alpha to step down, most of them reject and they have to be taken out by force or become rogues. I got a reminder of something that happened last year, but I could not pinpoint what it was. Most of us fell asleep near the fire, yeah you guess the youngest wanted to stay up all night I included, but it was a play day, so we all fell asleep.

7th Day – Friday – My Birthday

I woke up in the tent, look at my watch it was already 1 p.m. and I jumped almost making the tent fall, and I heard giggles from the outside, I got dressed, and went out, everyone was at the big table eating, and I got closer to Mom, Dad, and Alan.

‘Why did you let me sleep till so late.’ Alan just smiles at me. ‘Dad told me not to wake you up.’

I received a happy birthday from everyone at the table. I looked around and notice something different, the place was all decorated with flowers, I remember at my day Mom decided to do a Luau.

“Honey after lunch help us pack the tent and everything else.” She talks to me. “Why?” Putting a toast in my mouth. “We need the space the prepare the Luau, and your tent is the only one left.” My father smiles at me. I look behind me and my tent was the only one up, the other ones were already packed in place. I nodded.

After lunch I went to my parents to undo my tent and put it and all the other stuff in the car, then Father took me home to take a shower and dress for the Luau. He said that the birthday girl cannot have twigs’ on her hair. After I got dressed we got back to the camp place, once we arrived the place was completely different, small round tables with puffs around them, torches everywhere that were not lidded yet, a massive floating tent was on the place where the table was, and cascades of white flowers everywhere, from trees. On the dock was bamboo sofas with pillows and everyone was doing something, eating, drinking, talking, it was a much calmer step up than yesterday when we all jumped to the lake, and I loved it.

At dinner time my cake was brought up from a refrigerator truck they had in the park, it was a big White Cake full of different flowers that covered all the cake, it was perfect. After singing and eating, it was time for me to shift.

‘Are you ready?’ I ask Oriana that is guiding me in the shift. ‘Born ready, get it I am a wolf, so I was born to be a WOLF.’ I roll my eyes. I know she is trying to help me to get less nervous.

After a few minutes, of bone-cracking a few painful expressions on my part that were there due to the real pain I was feeling, I could sense my four paws on the floor, a little wind on my fur. I open my eyes and see that everyone is looking at me with an open mouth. I get scared that maybe there is something wrong.

‘Oriana do you sense something wrong, do we have a tail?’ She laughs in my head. ‘Yes, we have a tail, we are fine.’

‘Then why, are they like that?’ I was looking at a full pack whispering. ‘I don’t know, go check us out in the lake.’ I got closer to the lake in the dock and look at the water, the moonlight that helped me adjust and see my wolf. I gasp, I was beautiful, I never saw a wolf, like mine, I put myself on the side and saw my tail, I do not understand why they are looking like that.

‘Alan, what is happening? I look normal.’ I look at him, he was smiling.  ‘Sis you are beautiful.’ I smiled inside. I was, I was half black and half white, right to the middle, almost like two wolfs in one.

I looked at everyone, and they continue gossiping. ‘Dad what is going on?’ He seems to snap out of the daze. ‘Honey, can you sense your size?’ I do a circle around myself.  ‘My Size? Seems normal.’

My dad looks at the Alpha and nods.

“Pack let’s run, we are making the birthday girl wait, do not waste any more time. Shift” The Alpha commands. They all started shifting, and something was off. I should be my head at my brother's height, but he was shorter than me? That is not possible.

‘Aleena, lead the run.’ Alpha Oscar mind linked me.  ‘Around the lake.’

I nodded, and started running, the wind in my fur, made my wolf purr, the touch of the paws on the floor, jumping logs, dogging trees, it was fantastic my wolf was ecstatic. I then see a big Black Wolf by my side, it was taller than me, must be the Alpha.

‘Aleena better slow down the pace, or the pack can’t catch up.’ Mind links me. I looked back and no one was behind me. I calm my step and started seeing the other wolves. I never fought I could run so fast, only the Alpha could catch me.

After the run, we started coming back home. “Sis you are huge.” In the car going home. “What do you mean? I seem normal.” I know I am a little bit bigger, but the alpha is still bigger than me.  “Princess, you are bigger than me, and I am your father a Male.” Looking at the car mirror back.  “You are even bigger than Beta Lance.” Allan just screams in his seat using his hands to show me how big I was.  “I don’t understand, why am I bigger than a Beta? I should be smaller than Allan.”  Mom turns to the back “Maybe you got some ancestry genes in the family.” That was her way of reassuring me, but I caught the look she gave my father, a concerned look.

When we arrived at the packhouse, I went to charge my phone, I forget to charge it before leaving yesterday I had two messages of happy birthday, one from a longtime friend, and another from Alpha Glen, I still do not understand how he got my number.
