Along the day

After lunch, we got back to classes, first call in the afternoon Allan was with me, so it was calm, the others classes were just ignoring the rumors that I beat a teacher because I bumped to her. That also made the between classes impossible, but I had to endure, sicky notes on my locker, shoes for P.E. in the trash can, and the best of the day, “If it is not Smelly Aleena, got any new scents today? Don’t tell me the teacher broke your nose.” I look up from my locker to find Alec and the boys around me, by boys I mean the future Beta Brian, and Theo.

I got up and looked at him. “What do you want Alec?” Snarling his name as always. He gest closer to me towering. “Don’t forget your place mutt, I am the future Alpha.” I lift my head to match his stance. “Cocky much?” That gave me a push that my back hit the locker. “If you were not the Gamma daughter, I would have taught you a lesson by now.” I got back straight.  “Maybe you should try acting like a future Alpha should be, and I would respect you more.” A Growl escaped his mouth. “Better to shut up, you never know what hides in the woods.” I got my best teasing look.  “That’s an easy one, stupid wolves like yourself to be found by rogues.” His fist flies right next to my head hitting my locker, his usual stress relieved. My locket has to be fixed a least two times a week.

“Better find your Claimed Luna, she should be able to deal with that stress, but don’t forget that the Destined Luna, might reject you because of her b**ch highness.” He keeps his hatred eyes on me.  “Still with that talk about Destined Mates, you will shut the f**k up, once the Ball is over, and Taya becomes my Luna. When I rule this pack, you will be a little rogue, for other to f**k you over.”

Being a rogue is not a nice future, and if I don’t change this, that is what I will become. This pack will have the worst Luna and Alpha and probably will not last for long.

“What is going on here?” Mister Adams the P.E. teacher coming to us. “Nothing, Aleena had some troubles with her locker again, we were helping to open it, but I guess is ruin.” Brian to the rescue of his best friend.” Another report to fix the locker, you better be more careful Aleena.” Mister Adams sights. “Yeah, be more careful Aleena.” Theo scorns looking at me. “Don’t you guys have classes?” Mister Adams crossing his arms at them. “Yes, Mister.” He gives them a narrow look. “Then go, I will escort Aleena to the secretary, to fill the request.”

I saw the guys going their way. “You should be careful, it’s not god to angry an Alpha.” Mister Adams tells me, forcing my locker open and picking the locker number.  “Not my fault they come to ruin my day.” I collect my stuff since the locker is broken.  “You are smart Aleena, try to last until the end of the semester, once you get your Chosen Mate at the Ball, this will all be over.” He picks my books. “We are eleven, doing the math’s one of us is left out.” He looks at me with sad eyes, never since the wolfs got into hidden was an uneven pair, everyone had been paired up at the Ball, this was the first time.

I did the request for the locker, the Omega behind the desk already knew me by heart, every time I walked in, she would have the paper ready for me to sign. Mister Adam Gave her the books that she put in a place next to her. The only bummer is that I must come here every time to pick the books I need.

The rest of the classes where the same, getting late to P.E to find my shoes, then finding my locker completely open and everything on the floor, I can never pinpoint to anyone, because I never saw anyone doing it, and the first time I told the principal, he just shrugged it off, like it was children playing.

And finally, the best part of the day came, going home. My brother waits for me at the door every time, from there he can see me going to my locker to the entrance, he started doing this after several times of me falling to the floor (got trip by people passing by), and one time I got pushed over the entrance, I ended rolling down the entrance stairs, everyone kept passing by, as nothing happened, that was the last drop. My brother saw that, and came rushing to me, and punching everyone that did not help, only when I grunted of pain, he woke up and rushed me to the pack hospital. I got two broken ribs and a large bump on my head for hitting the rail in the middle of the stairs. When I got home, my mother went ballistic and asked what happen and before my brother started. I told that I lost balance and fell on the entrance stairs. She believed me, since to her I have started to become clumsy, ever since my six. That is because since that day, they started doing this, pushing over, making me fall over, and I always told them that it was my fault. I was too afraid, to tell the truth after the reunion on the Alpha Office, it was too easy, for them to just blame me, and my weirdness.

I got up to the entrance, “Movie night sis?” my brother put his arms around my shoulders. “You forgot we have mom waiting for us, to go shopping for our party.”

Since we are a week apart, my mother came with the idea, to do a week of parting… not every day is parting, since we cut the cake twice, only on those days we have the guest, but every day until my day, we do something different with them and are off school, I don’t mind, and my brother too. “Did you had to remind me of that.” Like all the guys he hates to shop. “Well if for the sake of not coming to school, for a week, we must deal with her party week plans for a few hours.” He grunts. “Those hours feel like months.” I laugh. “I know, mom has so much energy for her age.” He tells me joking. “Do not tell her that.” I joked with him.  “Yap did that mistake once, not doing it again.” We both laugh, going around my brother's car to get in.

Going inside. “Did you find anything in the library about that thing?” I remind the time at the library. “I think, I did. Do you know something about a potion to hide our smell?” He looks at me while fastening his seatbelt. “A potion?” Seams not by the look on his face.  “I was reading an old diary I found in the back of the library. The author mentions a way to hide the werewolf scent so that we pass by a human.” He started the engine while I was fastening mine. “Hmm I don’t know anything about it, but since is something like that, maybe only the higher ranks know about it.” He started getting out of the parking space.  “Think you can try asking dad about it?” He was thinking while looking to put the car correctly on the road, and once we started going forward. “Maybe after the birthday party, he will be more willing to share. I doubt he would respond to, Hey, dad do you know something about a potion that hides a werewolf scent?” I look to my backpack on my lap. “Your right, I will try to see if I can find out more, but even the school library is small. Maybe you can go to me to the town hall, the library there might give a clue.” I kept his eyes on the road. “I will only drive you there, do not think I will be in that stinking library with you.” I try to find a way to make his stay there more pleasant.  “You can go to that store you like a lot.” He brightens up. “The pancake store, that is an idea. What do we tell Mom and Dad?” I already had the perfect excuse. “That is easy, that we have exams, and I will be helping you study.” He looks a little at me and on the road again. “But why the town library, and not at home?” I also have an answer. “Because at home you will get distracted, and in the town library we have cabins so we can study, no distractions.” He does not seem secure about it. “Do you think they are going to fall for that?” I smile.  “Sure, they will, and that the only way they will let us leave alone, no guards around us.”

We arrived, Mom picked us up right after we left the car to go party shopping.
