A splash of water came onto my body. I shrieked in surprise and coldness when the water touched my body. My eyes widened, and I looked around to see if Bruno and Jennifer were with me. I couldn’t remember what happened next because the man had smacked the wood on my head again, which led me to lose consciousness. What I was only hoping was to see Jennifer and Bruno alive.
