Ploddingly, Hannah’s glimpse made me feel that I needed to accept her challenge. It was always Bernadette who helped her, despite Hannah only using her to escape from what she had violated. My lips were in a straight, thin line, and I tried to hide the emotions in my face. Seeing how she smugly looked at me made me wish that I could easily wipe out how she proudly mocked me.
