Bryan didn't know what he would say to his stepfather. He was skeptical especially when Anton seemed changed within a day. He witnessed how he didn't like Ashley so much, and resented his beloved daughter even though Ashley was innocent. He couldn't trust Anton because he believed that his stepfather's every action had a secret reason.
What he wanted to know was the hidden reason for his sudden change. Bryan's expression turned solemn before he cleared his throat and gave Anton a sympathizing look.
“King Anton, I don't know what happened to Ashley that day. Aside from that, are you not happy she is alive but happy without you? You already mentioned all her life she has been miserable and desperate to get your approval. I don't see any reason for us to find her if she is happy.” Bryan ens
