Ashley's Point of View
Jennifer didn't comment on what I had said, but I knew that she wanted to correct me. She hardly breathed before she avoided my eyes, so I wouldn't know what she felt.
"Rain, what are you still doing there? You aren't allowed to stay here without someone accompanying you." I heard Bruno talk behind our backs. Jennifer bowed her head before she pulled me away so I could continue walking away from the abandoned castle.
"I want to get back here, Bruno. I'm thinking that my mother may hide some clues." I informed Bruno about what I was planning. He still couldn't get my trust because of what happened on the island, but there was something inside of me that pulled me to ask for his help.
I remembered that he didn't let me stay in the dungeon and obeyed what I wanted.
