“Why? She is going to have to know me eventually,” Maximus replied in our link.
“I thought I had you blocked?” I said to him.
“Well, you lowered it, I guess, dummy,” he huffed.
I ignored him. How do I explain what Duke and Maximus are without scaring her?
“So, Duke and Maximus are kinda like a dog, but they are not dogs,” I went with.
“I’m not a dog! Why are you telling her I’m a dog?” Maximus demanded.
“Shut up, she doesn’t know about us. I have to ease her into this, okay?” I told him.
“Great, she is going to think I’m Fido, the family pet,” Maximus huffed.
“That’s good; I will tell her you are like family,” I told him.
