Tony sat beside Mackenzie’s hospital bed as the nurses wrapped her arm with bandages.
Her wolf had already started to heal her. He was waiting for the nurses to leave the room so he could explain to her why he wasn’t answering his mind-links.
Finally, the nurses started leaving the room.
“Mac, I’m so sorry you had to go through that.” Tony began.
“Are any of the warriors injured?” Mackenzie asked.
“A few were injured, but their wolves are healing them as we speak,” Tony spoke.
