Mackenzie POV
Stacy’s brunette friend was standing on the side of the fountain, as two rogues snapped their teeth at her feet. She tried kicking one of them in the face, when it grabbed her by the foot, successfully making her lose her balance, and falling between them.
Mackenzie knew she had to be fast to be able to save the young warrior. They had started tearing into her, her screams potent in the air.
Mackenzie ran towards the rogue in front of her. The wolf reciprocated, lunging towards Mackenzie. The wolf jumped into the air, ready to pounce on Mackenzie.
She kept running straight forward, letting herself slide under the wolf in the last second. She elongated her claws, dragging them across the wolf's belly, its insides spilling onto Mackenzie.
