Now, Kennis's fierce eyes turned to me, as if he were ready to kill. However, a familiar voice saved me from his anger. "Can we go now? I don't have all day."
My precious Angel Ana appeared from behind the Alpha's legs, her broad smile making him ease up a bit.
"Hi, Ana!" I waved.
"Hi, Luna! We're here to get you. You, me, and Alpha are going to the mall. I'm going to buy a Bratz doll!" she cheered, glancing at the Alpha, who still glared at me, though it wasn't deadly.
"Yeahhh!" I cheered along with Ana.
"But honey, I'm so busy with—"
"Pretty please!" she whined, hitting me with those big, glassy doe eyes that I couldn't resist.
