Diara POV
It was getting late, and we were walking back home after dropping Ana off at the pack house. Kennis and I were both silent, but it wasn't awkward. I noticed a few cars in the castle's driveway, and Louis, Emrys, Caleb, Oliver, Nina, and Ella were there. Kennis let out an aggravated snarl.
"Why are they outside?" I asked him.
"Welcoming visiting alphas. They will stay with us for a few days," he told me, and I nodded.
He paused in his tracks, and our gazes locked. "Don't tell them we're close."
"We're not close, Alpha," I reminded him, a surge of pain piercing through me. I got lost in his eyes until Caleb's voice resounded.
"Oh, there they are. Our Alpha and Luna," The two visiting alphas turned, and I was surprised. It was Eliot.
