*Episode 8: "Falling Apart"*

442 Words
Mia's world was crumbling, and she didn't know how to stop it. Justin's words echoed in her mind, "I don't know if I can trust you again." She felt like she'd lost the two people she cared about the most – Justin and Ava. Ava, on the other hand, was trying to pick up the pieces. She'd lost Justin, but she wasn't ready to give up. She started reaching out to friends, trying to rebuild her reputation. But the whispers and stares followed her everywhere. Justin was lost in his own thoughts, struggling to reconcile his feelings. He'd thought he knew Mia, but now he wasn't sure. He started questioning everything – his friendship with Ava, his feelings for Mia. As the days passed, Justin grew more withdrawn. He stopped attending classes, stopped hanging out with friends. He was drowning in his own sorrow. One day, he showed up at Mia's doorstep, his eyes red-rimmed from crying. "Mia, please," he said, his voice cracking. "I can't do this anymore. I need to tell you something." Mia's heart skipped a beat as she let him in. Justin walked to the piano in her living room and sat down. He started playing, the melody hauntingly beautiful. As he played, he sang, his voice raw with emotion. The song was about love, loss, and regret. It was about Mia, about what they'd had, and what they'd lost. Mia's eyes welled up as she listened, her heart breaking for Justin. She realized she wasn't the only one hurting. When Justin finished, he looked at her, his eyes pleading. "I'm sorry, Mia. I was wrong to push you away. Can we try again?" Mia's heart soared as she nodded, tears streaming down her face. Justin got up, and they hugged, holding each other tight. Ava, who'd been watching from afar, felt her anger boil over. She stormed over to Mia's house, her eyes flashing with rage. "What do you think you're doing?" Ava spat, her voice venomous. "You think you can just apologize and expect everything to go back to normal?" Mia and Justin turned to her, surprised. "Ava, calm down," Mia said, trying to placate her. But Ava wasn't having it. "No, you calm down," she said, her voice rising. "You two are just playing games with each other's feelings. You're not worthy of Justin, Mia." Ava's words were like a slap, but Mia didn't back down. "Ava, stop," she said, her voice firm. "We're trying to work things out. You need to respect that." Ava's face twisted in anger, and she stormed off, leaving Mia and Justin to wonder what they'd just gotten themselves into.
