“She is so screwed” I said in my mind now smirking while getting out of the car

“Why are you smirking, that’s weird”

Oh f**k I forgot Mrs. Linda was with me

“Nothing” and I went back to my usual stoic and starting walking fast towards my private elevator

“But it is just weird, I never seen you with any face expression” she just kept on talking while walking fast to catch my pace

“Are you sure the elevator is fixed” I said which made me remember yesterday night and I smiled wickedly because I know she is really going to be surprised

“Sir what is happening” Mrs. Linda said pulling me out of my thoughts

“What do you mean” I said clearly my voice

“Did you just smile” she looked at me with surprised “what is happening” she said sounding happy

Ahhhhh! Can’t I have my private space

I did not answer her, I just bore my face and went to the now opened elevator and entered with Mrs. Linda at my back and then the elevator closed and started taking us to the 35th floor used for only the CEO’s office and my suite and executive meeting room

The entire elevator ride was quiet until we got to my floor and went to my office with her on my tail

“So what the schedules for today” I said to Mr. Linda while sitting and she said everything and luckily today is not that busy

“And don’t forget, your new PA is coming today by 8pm”

“Hmmm hmmm” I hummed acting like Im not concerned a bit meanwhile I have gone through all her surface personal information like her birthday, middle name, favorite food and the rest.

Then Mrs Linda phone started ringing and she looked at me “it’s her, Anna has arrived. Let me pick her up” she said and left my office

Ohhhhk she is really early, this is just 7:40, I can give her a thumbs up for this but we can’t be sure it will be like this everyday so I can’t approve completely mostly after she insulted me yesterday.

Few minutes passed as I was working on something in my laptop I heard a knock on my door, that must be Mrs Linda and the new girl

“Come in” I said not carrying my head up and the door was opened and I think both of them entered because of the click of their heels on the floor but I was still intrigued in what Im doing so I still did not raise my head until I heard a slight cough trying to bring my attention and I finally raised my head up to see Anna with her smiling until she saw me, she smile came down

“Ma, is this the CEO” Anna said a little scared

“Yes, of course” Mrs. Linda said oblivious of what Anna means which made Anna wide her eyes a little bit while looking at me while I just sat here trying to keep my expression bore silently

“Ohhh good morning sir” she said bowing her head still shocked

“Mrs Linda, you can leave my office now let me speak to her privately” I said with a very serious tone and immediately she left the office for me and Anna

And immediately Anna grabbed her seat to sit which made me raised an eye on her

“Who said you can sit down, did you see Mrs Linda when she was here” I said a little bit angry now at her disrespect on her first and I continued “from now on, once you are with me, only follow my instructions”

Which seems to shock her a little bit because she immediately adjusted the seat well and stood at the back of the chairs

“Sorry sir” she said and I just ignored her and started working again

“So introduce yourself” I said with a hard voice

“Good morning” she said clearly “My name is Anna Hale and I’m the new Personal Assistant to you the CEO” she said with her head up now sounding confident, okay I deserves a thumbs up for the ability to compose herself quickly and she continued “Today is my first day and Im so pleased to be given this opportunity. I look forward to working closely with you” she said ending with a slight bow and I just nod at her introduction

“Ok that’s okay, did Mrs Linda tell you” I said now typing on my laptop and still not bringing my head up “for this week, you will be closing the normal closing time which is 5pm even if there is impromptu meeting, Mrs Linda will handle that with me for this week only and then from next week, you will be following us to the various business trips and so on even after close hours and as you should already know, Mrs. Linda is only going to be here to assist for this month only to guide you then from next month you will take over fully” I said

“Yes sir” she said with a firm, respectful voice

“So that all for now, meet Mrs. Linda and start the business of the day, you may leave now” I said dismissing her

“Yes sir” she said and when she reached the door, I raised my head

“Just so you know, I haven’t forgotten about yesterday” I said which made her stop on her track and look at me with a widen shocked eyes

“Y-es sir” she said with a nervous voice and quickly opened the door and left my office which made me smile a little bit by her reaction
