Chapter 5: Anna

Today was okay, thank goodness. I said in my head while opening my door and going straight to my room to freshen up, I just hope Lara is not yet home so I can get some sleep. Then I went to the bathroom to freshen up and as I was done, I went to the kitchen quietly with the light off so I won’t wake her up that is if she is at home but I can’t take that risk, I opened the fridge to grab some bread and some other thing to make a little sandwich for the night

“Hey babe” Lara said giving me a jump scare

“f**k, what are you doing there” I said switching on the lights in the kitchen, that’s when I saw her on one of the counter stool “why are you sitting there in the dark by this time” I said going to one of the counter stool too opposite her and she still did not answer, she just sat there quiet and a sad face “what happen babe” I said now on the stool, touching her cheek to comfort her

“James is cheating on me” she said lowly with tears coming from her eyes

Fuck “what the f**k!!!! Which James first” I said now and my tiredness now forgotten but she still did not answer me, she just kept her head down and that answers it “how did you find out” I said bringing her head up and cleaning her tears

“I went to his apartment to surprise because we hardly see each other because of her work schedules, so I thought he won’t be at home” she paused “he always says he closes from work by 7pm so why” she said crying loudly now

I hugged her and allow her cry, when her crying has reduced, I brought her up and looked her at and she continued “I went to his house by 6pm to prepare breakfast for him before he reach home but as I opened his door” she paused again trying to catch her breath while bringing her head down “I saw him and a lady kissing on his couch in the living room” she said quickly and quietly now crying loudly again “and I quickly left his house without him knowing. He didn’t even notice because he was ..” she said crying with her face messy

This just made me angry, she has been dating this guy for almost two years. I just stand up from my stool and brought her down too gently

“We are going to his house to teach him a lesson” I said which shocked Lara making her look at me in confusion and shock

“No! No, no, no” she said chanting loudly “we can’t after what he has done, I don’t want to see his face anymore”

“He at least deserve some beating at least and he does not know that you caught him cheating, so you need to break up with him while he is on the floor in pain from our beating” I said which seems to lighten her up a little bit

“Yes” she said shaking her head positively now smiling wickedly

“This is the perfect time I use my fighting skills I learnt in school” I said now smiling with her and we both went to our room to change to some comfortable clothes.

This is one of the reasons I learnt to fight, because of her, she was always like a baby and people always try to use that to their advantage in school and I have beaten lots of people that try to bully her or take advantage of her because of her petite body.

And we left our house with her pink Lexus car, perks of being from a rich family unlike me.

When we got to his building garage, we left the car with full energy and headed to the elevator, surprisingly we saw him on the ground with a guy on a tailored cloth and a earpiece and glass beating him while another guy in a full corporate cloth in black relaxing on a car smoking while a girl was at the side of the relaxed guy with her head down and clothes rough, that must be the girl James was kissing and maybe that’s her real boyfriend

So we matched to where James is, and everyone paused and looked at us but we didn’t even look at them but James and the guy beating him

“Babe help me, I don’t even know who they are” James said shouting for help and looking at Lara when he saw us approaching

And when we reach, I just gave James kick on his stomach and he yelped and rolled on the ground

“What is that for” he said now angry at me

Im not sure he remembers that he was getting beaten before we came

“You still have the guts to lie to my friend” I said giving him another one on his stomach while Lara said now approaching him and crouching to his level which maybe the other guy leave James immediately maybe we has figure it out too and left us to handle it small

“You fool” she said grabbing his hair tightly and I smiled “You have the guts to cheat on me after almost two years of relationship” she said shouting still holding his hair tightly which made James wide his eye in shock

“What no, babe, who told you that? It’s a lie” he just kept on lying with his wounded face

“Don’t call me that” she said releasing his hair and giving him a hot slap while he is on the ground and he rolled again on the guy “I saw you with this girl” she said pointing at the girl while I stand there looking at James with satisfaction and caution incase he tries something stupid “you guys were kissing in your living room” she said screaming and hitting him on his face

She just kept on screaming and hitting him while blood was spilling from his nose so I carried her from the ground because she has done enough injury herself and what’s when I finally looked at the other people at our side and the first person I saw really shock him, Mr. Ethan smiling and waving his hand at me, f**k!!!
