PROLOGUE : THE TEARS OF THE AEVUM
Before the realms learned to bleed, they existed in delicate silence—separated by an ancient veil of starlight and stone. But love is a lawless spark, unbothered by cosmic borders.
The realms had endured for eternity without touching.
Then Igneel loved Elora—eternity broke.
When Igneel, the Sovereign of Infernal Ash, met Elora, the radiant Princess of the Coven, the worlds trembled. Their passion was not merely forbidden; it was a cosmic catastrophe.
When their bloodlines crossed, the sky shattered like glass. The sacred barrier between the Witch and Demon realms shattered, casting black hellfire and raw magic into the air.
In the shadows of the cracking sky, their final embrace was brief—tasted through ash, tears, and desperation.
"Go," Elora whispered, her voice like wind through autumn branches as her father King Solemn's silver ward began to seal the border behind her. "If they find us together, they will destroy our child before he ever draws breath."
Igneel reached for her, his clawed fingers brushing her cheek—a warmth that could melt iron, yet so gentle it barely stirred her hair. "I will tear down every wall in existence to find you again, my light."
"Do not seek me in the Coven," she wept, holding her newborn close against her heart, where the infant’s dual magic already pulsed like a double heartbeat. "Seek me where the roots meet eternity."
With a final, agonizing pull of forbidden seal magic, King Solemn’s dark blood-seal snapped into place. The sky tore away. Igneel was ripped back into the dark depths of the Abyssal Realm, leaving behind only the echo of his roar—a sound that shattered mountains across the infernal planes.
Trapped on the edge of the collapsing world, Elora stumbled through the mists of the Border Realm, her strength fading with every step. The forbidden magic cast by her father began its terrible work, draining her life force and binding the realm’s remaining magic into a volatile curse.
With starlight bleeding from her wounds and embers clinging to her skin, she reached the base of The Aevum—the Holy Tree whose leaves were turning to grey dust as the fractured barrier choked its roots.
Waiting beneath its dying canopy stood Orion, the Ancient Guardian, his eyes shining like cold obsidian.
"You bring a storm in swaddling clothes, Princess," Orion murmured, looking down at the quiet baby in her arms. "His blood carries the dawn of one world and the dusk of another. If his power falls into the wrong hands, the realms will burn to ash."
"Then let him be hidden," Elora gasped, sinking to her knees amidst the withered roots. "Take my soul. Take my blood and vessel. Bind me to The Aevum so its roots may bloom once more, and let my life serve as his cradle."
Orion raised his staff, hesitant. "A soul transfer cannot be undone, Elora. You will cease to walk beneath the stars."
"I will walk in his heartbeat," she smiled softly, pressing her lips to the forehead of her child. "His name is Silas, I hope his existence will mend the sky.."
As King Solemn’s royal pursuers breached the border mists, Elora placed her hands upon the bark of the Holy Tree. Silver light erupted from her chest, intertwining with black infernal threads. The extraction began. Her physical body dissolved into a shower of luminescent petals, flowing up through the bark and reviving every withered branch of The Aevum with radiant, immortal magic.
Deep within the hollow trunk of the flourishing tree, wrapped in her eternal grace, slept young Silas—his bloodline sealed, his destiny delayed, and his existence hidden from a world already hunting his name.
