A week passed and in that week Eleanor booked an appointment with a therapist discreetly, not wanting anyone to know about it. She got an appointment on a date after a month but she had no choice in it. If she wanted to keep it to herself and not utilize her sources, then she would have to wait.
“Blaire, when is the meeting for the CEO election?”Eleanor asked her assistant as she entered the office. Blaire looked at Eleanor while placing the file on Eleanor’s table.
“I think it’s today. Did I forget to remind you?” Blaire asked but Eleanor shook her head.
Eleanor shook her head. “No, I am asking about time?” Eleanor said pointing to her wristwatch and Blaire nodded frantically.
“Oh sorry, I misunderstood… It’s at 12:00.”
“Okay, make sure everything’s ready before then,” Eleanor sai
