“Hey, Rebecca how are you doing? I am sorry for leaving you like that and I want to tell you that I regret it. I am so lonely here without you…” Eleanor’s voice broke recording the voicemail because Rebecca wasn’t picking up her calls and she was worried she had lost her best friend. What she didn’t know was that Emily was standing in the doorway to her room waiting for Eleanor to finish so she could knock and come in.
Eleanor turned to look at the doorway at the sound of knock and saw Emily standing there with a smile on her face. It was like a silent prayer was answered for Eleanor. Her face split into a relieved smile and she got up to run towards Emily who was already walking towards her with a smile.
