This can't be happening. I never should have brought Kane and his two kids here. I don't want to upset Ethan's parents or anything. As we take out seat as dinner is being set, I can tell Kane is a bit overwhelmed by it all. I wonder what his family does over the holiday, though I guess we will find out soon enough since we are going to be headed over there in the next five weeks. His sister's wedding is between Christmas and New Years, so we will be over in Virginia over the holidays.
"Can I sit on your lap?" Asher pokes at my arm and I give him a warm smile before lifting him up so he can sit on my lap. Mason does the same to Kane.
"Well, thank you everyone for gathering tonight for our annual Thanksgiving dinner. Please help yourselves and remember to take home the leftover
