3. Rogue

Aniyah POV

"We know my love." Alpha Dimitri appeased his daughter's every delusion. She wouldn't be mated to a mouse! I tried very hard not to laugh. Wouldn't want to be whipped on my birthday. I would be surprised if anyone wanted her. She puts the word trash in TRASHY. For the past 4 years, Chassity has slept with almost every single male in our pack and the packs surrounding ours. The lie is she’s traveling to find her mate, who she swears is an Alpha. I highly doubt it.

'Ni, I feel anxious.' Lene whimpered with anticipation. A lot is going on today and I know Lene is sensitive and has superb situational awareness. It could be because everyone is moving around the packhouse more than usual.

 'Maybe because today is our 17th birthday. We should be able to scent our mate.' I wanted to keep Lene calm. No one knew about her, but when she gets antsy it becomes harder to keep her presence a secret.

'Perhaps you are right Ni, I will let you know if I sense him.' My wonderful wolf retreated to the back of my mind, but I knew she was alert, just in case something happened.

Chassity POV

The dinner party was due to start any moment. The gate guard's mind linked Alpha Dimitri about the arrival of Shadow Fury's Alpha and his guests. As the convoy approached, I could smell the sweet scent of peppermint and chocolate. I can’t contain my excitement; I was right! Alpha Asher is most definitely my mate. My smile spread wide, a rich Alpha that could spend all of his money on me. Finally, I can live the life I deserve.

I glance over my shoulder and the filthy omega; I want this b***h to have a front-row seat to my happiness. I don’t know why I hate this omega so much. I can’t think of anything she has done to me, but I don’t care. Eat your heart out wh*re.

"Dad, mate is here!" I could see my dad’s calculating smirk. Since I am mated to Asher and he is the richest Alpha, my dad could use our mating to get himself out of debt. He thinks I don’t know, but when I was at the Mall last week, the diamond necklace I wanted to purchase didn’t go as planned. The card declined for a small transaction of $20,000. It was so embarrassing. He won’t admit anything, but I know he would gladly sell me off.

Aniyah POV

"Be still girl, your mate will sense you." Alpha Dimitri did not approve of her outburst, but you couldn't miss the slight smile on his face. Aniyah internally rolled her eyes as she stood behind Chassity holding a tray of welcome drinks. This will be very interesting. My top tormentor is getting a free pass to a new pack, away from me!

I see the Alpha and his guests exit the SUV. All of the men are handsome. I saw them lift their noses in the air and look around towards the door. I can’t hear what they are saying but they look interesting from my standpoint. Granted, I can barely see anything through the crack. I am very nosy when I want to be.

Chassity keeps glancing back at me with a smirk. I am glad I have all mind links blocked. Call it a superpower of mine, but no one can mind link me. Nor can Alpha Dimitri use his Alpha tone on me. I think it is because I do not see him as MY Alpha. Maybe their Alpha, but not mine.

“You are lucky to have an alpha as our mate. Be on your best behavior, he can still reject you until he mates with you. Wipe that smirk off of your face! He must not think you are desperate for him.” Luna Christina chimes in. “I knew this dinner would work to our advantage.”

“Yes Mother.” embarrassed by her mother’s words, Chassity stops looking over her shoulder at me. I’m glad, I was close to cussing about it.

“It is Luna Christina to you as well!” She loudly whispers.

“Yes Luna Christina.” Yikes, I see where she gets the b****y entitlement from. Like mother, like daughter. My arm is hurting from holding this drink tray. What use are other servants if they want me to do everything myself? They could’ve placed the small table by the door so that everyone could’ve grabbed a drink on the way in. I didn’t necessarily have to hold it.

‘Lene, I want to leave here!” I began to complain to my wolf, ‘It is getting harder and harder to control the anger these people make me feel.’

‘I understand but please let's hold on just a little while longer.’ I am pretty sure Lene is getting tired of my grumpiness, but I can’t help it. Tonight, I am leaving this place. I will willingly become a rogue. An outcast to all packs, all I need is me, myself, and I.
