Aniyah POV 'Ni, mate is here!' Lene practically yelled with excitement. It was fun to see. If she was a cat she would be purring. I honestly did not think that I was blessed with a mate. It is sad to admit, but I thought the Moon Goddess forgot about me down here in this h*ll hole. 'I can smell him, Love soap with a hint of fresh rain and early morning dew!' I watched both men approach us and say, mate. I assumed that the other guy would be my mate. It couldn't be possible for me to be mated to the Alpha. I am no one. Chassity sprawls herself across Alpha Asher's chest and Lene begins to growl. I am shocked because the warrior is now claiming Chassity as his mate. Blessed Moon Goddess the Alpha is OUR MATE! 'LENE!!!! The Alpha is OURS.' Look at the turn of events. Chassity Jones, eat your heart out! I don’t know if he will accept me or not, but at least it is going down in public records that I AM the one mated to an Alpha, not her! BOOM! 'Quite obviously so, my human. Mate will accept us, the moon goddess knows this, just relax.” Leave it up to my wolf to have all the answers, but as soon as I ask her a question, she wants to talk to me in circles. Got to love her. ‘I hope he doesn’t reject us, but if he does, Lene, it will only hurt for a moment. We will be alright.' I prepared my better half just in case things didn’t go our way. I know that life rarely provides me with beautiful things, and by goddess, Alpha Asher is beautiful. 'Yes, Ni, then we will move on and find something better!' I closed off the link to my wolf as I focused on this beautiful man. He has to be at least 6’ 7’ and his curly dirty blond hair makes me want to rub my fingers through it. Wait, where did that thought come from? I watched Alpha Asher approach us with his steely gray eyes focused on me. His face is blank, which doesn’t allow me to know what he is thinking. Please don’t let me be too embarrassed by this encounter. Although my head is down and my hand hurts like all get out, I steady my shoulders and wait while trying not to drop the welcome drinks. "NAME OMEGA.” He demands it as if it would hurt him to ask nicely. What a douchebag. Oh sh*t, he accepts me! Well, I will nicely pretend that the drinks have fallen by accident, hehe, someone else will have to clean that mess. I hold his gray eyes with a stare of my own. I am going to be a Luna. I peek over at Dimitri and Christina; I've NEVER seen Alpha Dimitri so red-faced. His wife’s face held the same anger and shock. If I wait a little longer, I may see a fly land on her tongue. One could only hope. Dimitri tries to start a pissing contest and I smile inwardly because my mate is not having it. I have no family, this pack has shown me no kindness, which means they get no money from my mate. "Aniyah, we shall take our leave now." Alpha Asher gently takes my hand and guides me out the door. I feel the sparks shooting up my arm. To say that I am currently at a loss for words is an understatement. "OVER MY DEAD BODY WILL YOU TAKE THAT TRASHY A** OMEGA B***H OVER ME!" Why can’t someone just stick a pin in her already? Chassity charges towards me but I rise to the occasion. I have been waiting 12 years for this. Aside from many things that this worthless pack doesn't know about me, the biggest fact is that I train in my spare time to overcome the hunger pains of starvation. I don't look like much, but this b***h is about to do something called f*ck around and find out! As she is getting closer to me, I ball up my fist and connect with an uppercut, sending her flying 3 feet backward. Everyone gasps, shocked that I hit her. I smile as she flips onto her feet attempting to charge me again. I get into my fighting stance and can’t help but smirk. As she gets closer to me, I sidestep, tripping her, and shoving my elbow into her back. Landing on the ground again, she starts to shift into her average brown wolf. Piece of cake. Alexa, Chassity's wolf, comes barreling towards me. I jumped onto her back, wrapping my arms around her neck, completing the chokehold. Tight enough for her to go to sleep but not enough to be fatal. Night, Night Cruella. "Aniyah, enough, let's go." My mate maintained a neutral expression on his face. I don't even care at this point. Someone needs to point me to my new home. Whether they know it or not, I have unlocked one of the invisible chains that were binding me.
