It is 22nd November 2010 I went to my favorite corporate job. The office ambience is amazing, nice cubicles everyone taking their laptop and walking towards their conference room for their meeting. Since I am a trainee, I was not allowed inside for the meeting. I sat in my cubicle and thinking about the day. It is Monday morning I woke up and walked to the kitchen and saw my mom making hot idlis and tomato chutney after seeing that I got hungry So went to the washroom to freshen up. While thinking about that everyone came out from the conference room. IFMR is my mind manifested from mind’s Company Law and CS Executive Programme course book. My indra loka where I got all the amenties and facilities. My boss completed PGDBA from Symbiosis. So I thought to complete the same course from Symbiosis. But she didn’t encourage thought. So I requested other Company Secretary to write the Service Level Agreement for my Company. Since I am the Company Secretary Trainee. Sunita was calling me constantly in the evening to know how I got the Company Secretary job. Other college mates were jealous that I got this job. She said she don’t want a job that she is going to do MBA. I don’t have that luxury because my father constantly scolding my mom for being a house wife. That’s why I took the job at 19. It is big blunder I done I should have taken MBA from a prestigious school. My father offered me MBA from SSN College. I missed that apportunity to study at a great college like SSN. But I was happy that I got job in IITM Research Park. Most of employees are from prestigious B-School the HR told this to me while introducing me to them. Taking print outs in Bond Sheets and taking print outs in Company Letter Head. After that they asked questions from Company Act, 1956 about Board Meeting and Annual General Meeting. I was given induction. During induction Company President gifted me Portfolio of the Poor Book. The Company is in to wealth management for their customers. They have three branch office basically I went to one of their branches. Branch visit is as part of the induction. I went to Thanjavur for the branch visit. In the visit I saw a bunch of women reading pledge about repaying the loan back. Back to the Corporate office My colleagues took to me Ascendas, Taramani it is my first time I had a veg burger. Me and my colleagues went to theatre we watched movie together. It was a movie about friendship. In the evening after office hours I attend bhajan in the Math. It is my unwinding time. Back to my Corporate office, my trainer was not sitting next to me. She sat little far away. So, accessing her was quite a challenge for me. I use to go movie theatre with my sister and Brother this made my trainer believe that I have boyfriend. If she listened to this properly that rift would have not happen. Yes, In December 2011 she said to come to work on Saturday and I denied because colleagues in my age are not coming on Saturday. I said I can’t come on Saturday for that she says tell your boyfriend to come on Sunday. This is made to get angry because I don’t have any boyfriend. I shouted to the colleague friend who was sat next to me see how badly she is talking. That colleague friend supported me in my decision to quit the job. Because she knew that my trainer colleague friend rudely came to me assigned me his job it is to take print out. Next day is the important day my trainer took me to the conference room I thought since I completed one year at office. She is going to promote me. But the opposite she said attitude. She is said I have attitude issue that everyone complaining about you. She said either to do awesome work and be here or be like this taking print outs for everyone. I thought after staying here will be painful and told I will quit the job. My trainer insisted to stay. Since I was strong in quitting, she has to let it go.
