Sylvie's never been one for violence, and that is where she differs from her sister. She can recall several points in her childhood where Melinda would want to do something grotesque, while Sylvie did not. One time, for instance, when they were nothing but mere toddlers, Melinda found an R-rated horror movie.
"Where did you get that?!" Sylvie exclaimed when Melinda showed her the obscenely decorated case.
"From the mayor's son." Melinda boasted proudly. "He was always bragging about watching all these 'adult' movies when his dad wasn't looking, so I told him to swipe me one as proof."
Being that the Corvinus' were very important public figures, the mayor of the town would always take it upon himself to play nice with them, and that includes his children.
