~The Discovery~

Erin

I woke up feeling groggy and disorientated. Everything looked blurry to me. I had to blink a couple of times to get a clearer picture as to where I was at. I was in a freaking hospital bed.

“What the?”

“Don’t get up you might strain the IV.” A nurse said which freaked me out since I thought I was in this room by myself.

“What...what happened to me?” I ask having a headache. The last thing I remember is Dyl fixing my tie in his bedroom.

“You were struck by lightning. You are actually lucky we couldn’t find your pulse for a minute when they rolled you in, but luckily I brung you back.” He said. Huh, never noticed that he was a male nurse. How did that happen?

“Thanks...I guess. Where was I to get struck by lightning anyway?”

“You don’t remember? I’m going to have to get the doctor. But you were in a restaurant it came through the ceiling glass and actually struck some other people in the restaurant as well.”

“What? Who?! Was it Dyl? Is he ok?” I bombard him with questions.

“I’m not at liberty to say, but I’ll get the doctor for you now.”

“Wait!...What’s your name?”

“Kal.” He says and then points to his name tag that I’m now just noticing and he pushes up his glasses that I’m now just noticing as well. God I need to pay attention to details a lot better from now on.

“Well thanks to saving my life again.” I say rubbing my forehead. My headache was getting a lot worse. Blinding spots now replaced Kal’s place I could only see half of him.

“The doctor will be back in a minute I see that you are in a lot of pain.” Kal says and rushes out the door.

Dyl

“Where am I?”

“Sir, you are in the hospital, you have abstracted a lightning injury.” the nurse says.

My eyes widen more at that statement and I remember everything from last night.

“Erin! What happened to the boy I was with his name was Erin?!” I ask scared. And then I remember again that I couldn't find his pulse.

“Aahhhh!” I scream frustrated that all these unknown emotions was coming from out of nowhere.

My eyes rolled back into my head and then before I fell back on the bed I saw this light energy go out of my body and into the nurse beside me and she was trying to calm me down. But before she could her eyes rolled in the back of her head as well.

I was walking down the hallway of the hospital. No! Not me the nurse is walking down the hallway. Am I looking through her eyes! What the…

“We have several lightning victims in critical conditions! Come on people let's get to work!” A doctor screamed. And the nurse I was in started running to the ER.

I gasped when I saw myself and my brothers. Laying on beds that they just put us on from the gurney from the ambulance they just wheeled us out of.

“We’ve got two more!” a male nurse yells with glasses on his face. I could see from the nurse that his name tag said Kal.

Being in this nurse's body I can feel the instant attraction she has for him. She even sometimes spy on this certain male nurse and watch him dress while they are in the locker room. What a perv! The two people Kal was talking about was Emma and Erin! I feel the nurse rush over to Emma while that Kal guy worked on Erin. Emma looked dead to me but the nurse felt that the lightning only made it seem so. So she immediately got some adrenaline and shot that into Emma! OMG!

Emma suddenly jumped up and said; “The Roarin’s are upon us! The Elementals are the only ones to save us!” and then her eyes rolled in the back of her head and fell back down. The nurse was shocked and just got the doctor and didn't know what to do. The doctor came over and told told the nurse to focus on me. Before the nurse could actually start working on me she saw Kal get on top of Erin and start to do compressions and stick Erin with something.

“I got a pulse!” I hear Kal yell before I was sent back into my body.

My eyes immediately flew open after that. “What the f**k was that?!”

“I'm going to get the doctor.” the nurse says when she finally gets out of her daze. I watch her rush out the door and I just wait.
