Fingers feather my skin, and I twist my face in protest. The sun didn’t poke at my arms and legs, so I presumed it was pretty early in the morning. Why would anyone or anything be up at this ungodly hour? Deep in peaceful sleep, I silently wondered why something kept touching my face, like a loose thread hanging over my head.
