TREVOR’S POV
The magnolia tea worked like a charm. I only hoped that as she lay in my lap, saliva rolling off of her lips onto my pants, she was having pleasant dreams. Seeing Ocean like this tugged at my heartstrings. It only encouraged me more to get out and get this entire thing over with.
I slipped from underneath Ocean and placed a kiss on her forehead. I stroke her cheek gently, peeling away the dried tears.
I just wanted to see her smile again.
I blow out a breath, raking a single hand through my hair.
Rex waited for me on the other side of the door, and we make our way downstairs so that we wouldn’t interrupt Ocean’s sleep.
“Does anyone have eyes on Franklin?”
“Almost all eyes are on him, Mr. Vatore.”
“And what about Carina, and my mother, how soon will they get here?”
