I awoke from the bed, whilst the street lamps peered into the room. I stretched, surveying the room for any signs of Trevor, but as usual, he wasn’t there. Naturally, I assumed he was downstairs. He always seemed to be planning, and now that we were boiling down to –, I knew he was probably doing everything he could to ensure that we’d get out of this unscratched. My phone rang, muffled by the sheets. Rubbing my forehead, I lazily push my hand under the covers in search of it.
