I watched her shocked expression as her eyes moved from my boxes to me when I announced that I was going to be living here. My eyes dropped to the wet patch on her boobs.

“Don’t you dare think I'm buying this whole ‘engaged to my mom’ act” he crossed her arms, her voice sharp with accusation “I know you are here because of her money, and you don't even care about her”

“Oh, come on, Veronica,” I said with a teasing smile. “Isn’t that a bit harsh? You don’t even know me.”

“Really?” she shot back, her eyes narrowing. “Then why are you here? You could’ve easily found a place of your own, but instead, you’re living off her. You’re just a scammer playing house.

I’ve heard of guys like you before—charming on the outside but nothing but a leech on the inside. You may have fooled my mom, but you’re not fooling me.”

I dropped the clothes I was folding and walked closer to her. Her angry expression melted as she stared at my chest. I kept walking closer to her, and she moved backwards till she hit the corridor walls and there was no way for her to go

I lifted her chin up so she could meet my eyes, and then I slowly tucked her hair behind her ears.

“You think I’m charming?” I smirked

She opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out. Her lips just hung slightly open as she stared at me. I felt the heat from her body and my eyes were glued to her parted lips, I just wanted to lean in and kiss her

“Josh?” I heard Claudia call and I jolted

“Hey, baby. I’m almost done moving everything up here.” I told her and Veronica walked away

“What was that about?” Claudia asked

I walked over to her and gave her a light peck on her lips. “Oh don't worry about it. I heard the argument between you and Veronica, so I just thought I should talk to her, you know, try and convince her on why I had to stay here. Thank you so much again for letting

me stay” I said, holding her hands “I’ll be out of your hair soon”

“Ohh, stop. You can stay here for as long as you like. Veronica will come around”

I knew it. She was too deep into me

“Let me help pack the rest of your things” she offered

“No, baby. You’ve had a long day. You should rest. I’ll meet you in your room when I’m done” i said, and leaned in and kissed her again

She smiled and left for her room. My phone vibrated in my pocket. I walked into my room and shut the door when i saw the caller ID
