“Ouch!” I yelled out loud for the third time in math class. My bones and body ached continuously. I wanted to scream out “I hate you all!”
I turned my head when I felt eyes on me. There were two guys from the football team ogling me as I rubbed my chest. I had thought I was discreet. I mouthed something crude. One laughed, the other blew me a kiss. Gross. Not even if you paid me.
“Ms. Esquibel, can you please refrain from yelling out in class unless I call on you for an answer? If you are having womanly problems, please report to the nurse's office,” said Mr. Chen, the math teacher, pointing the red pin light at my forehead instead of the screen.
