Chapter 18Earth: Connor I hopped in the car and took off in furious fashion. Like last time my emotion would not disperse no matter how many deep breaths I took. Racing down the two-lane road, I sensed something in the woods right before the more populated area. I steered off onto a small dirt road. Pulling into a clearing space, I got out, stepping in the wet dirt in search of what I was picking up. I walked into the densely packed woods with little light. The crescent moon was covered heavily by overcast. And although it had stopped raining, the trees relinquished their burden of water by continuously drenching the earth.
