“s**t!” Lights dimmed around him as the screen blanked out. Bash dove for the master power switch, slamming his fist against it and killing power to the entire network.
“What happened?” Freya was next to him within seconds, her vibrant purple eyes darting around the room. Short black hair stood out in all directions, still mussed from her nap. In moments like this, she was gorgeous. More so than normal anyway, because she was always beautiful to him.
