CHAPTER 10 The next morning, Silas had wanted to stay home with May, but she convinced him she was alright and he should go to work. He had awakened her through the night to check on her. May was feeling fine. Probably better than Silas. She wanted to work on her marriage bracelet. She could not work on it while Silas was home, and time was running out on her. She promised Silas she would check in with him and, if her head started bothering her again, she would call him. After fixing breakfast for the two of them and telling Silas goodbye with a long kiss at the door, May cleaned the kitchen and then started working on her bracelet.
