CHAPTER TWENTY TWO
Leaping out of bed, Oliver grabbed Hazel and Ralph. The three of them fled from the Obsidians and the Elysian intruding into Galileo’s apartment, and ran into the inventor’s bedroom.
Galileo sat bolt up in bed, looking stunned by their sudden intrusion. “What is going on?” he cried to Oliver in Italian.
“That was the Elysian!” Ralph said, his back pressed against the door to block it, his eyes wild with fear.
“And he’s teamed up with Chris?” Hazel added, looking utterly panic-stricken.
Galileo staggered out of bed and approached them. “Tell me what’s going on,” he demanded of Oliver.
Oliver explained as quickly as he could. “Christopher just stormed in. And he brought the Elysian with him. I think they’re on the same team.”
