More Than Friends

Alyssa POV

I just got home from school! I want to tell you about Anthony. He's so dreamy! You already know he's two months older than I am, but that's not all. He has midnight black hair that he's had cropped in a French style for as long as I can remember with gorgeous hazel eyes. He also has a scar near his eyebrow on the left side that he refuses to talk about no matter how many times I ask about it.

His parents are divorced and he's an only child which I envy very much! He's on the football team, but he doesn't have many friends and he often parties, no matter how many times I try to tell him to stop. I always tell him that him drinking and partying will get him in trouble one day. He's taller than me, being 5'11 and has a muscular build with broad shoulders and a very defined six pack. Sometimes I just want to walk up to him and lick, wow, wow. Nope hormonal brain going nuts over here, forget that sentence.

I’ve had a crush on Anthony since the sixth grade, but I always kept it a secret. I never wanted to damage what we had, so I dated other boys to try to help me forget about him. I wish that he wasn’t dating my best friend, but I have to keep him happy. Everything that he does drives me crazy like there was this one time that he kissed Alec, and then wrapped his arm around my waist and told us,”My two favorite girls.” If that wasn’t meant to drive me crazy then I have no idea what does.

Alec had always known that I had a crush on him, and so when she started dating him it was like a sword thrust into my back and went through my heart as well. When I asked her why her simple response was,”You snooze, you loose.” If you can be more of a b***h than that let me know. Since then I have been avoiding her and whenever Athony asks why we don’t talk anymore I just wave him off. You’d think after him knowing me for this long he could try to push to see what is really wrong.
