SSA Xiaobo had just finished the radio conversation with Djay Laro. Got off his lunar scooter and walked up to the man in the battered suit. “Commissioner Roz?”
The man in the restored spacesuit kept his distance. “And you are…?”
“FBSI. Special Space Agent Xiaobo.” Even before Roz could respond, Xiaobo added: “A state of emergency has been declared on Affix and Viridis, actually throughout sector 41.07. I’m in command here now.”
The men standing around the commissioner looked at Roz with anticipation. “Why should I recognize your authority?” Roz bluffed to the delight of his men.
“Rad,” Xiaobo said in his radio. “Would you like to explain the current state of affairs?”
