It was a bright Monday morning, Silvester and Rowan set out for South Dakota. Silvester was dressed in a brown shirt, Rowan on the hand was putting on a multicolored shirt.
They had ensured that they took their breakfast on time. When they got to the airport, they waited for a few minutes before they took off. Passengers always loved to travel by plane because it was the fastest means of transportation from Singapore to anywhere in the world.
When they got to South Dakota, they checked into a hotel called Princeton hotel. This was one of the biggest hotels in South Dakota. They spent two days inside the hotel before they set out for their mission.
It was a cool morning, Rowan was the first to wake up, he woke Silvester gently from sleep. Silvester woke up from his sleep and greeted Rowan.
"Morning, Silvester. How was your sleep?"
"It's fine. Are you packing a g*n into that bag?"
Rowan burst into an uncontrollable laughter. He moved towards Silvester and hit him on the back. "Don't be a silly boy. Do you want the police to arrest me? This bag contains some clothes we may need for our mission."
"Mission? Is it today?"
"Yes, of course. We have stayed two days in South Dakota, but we haven't achieved our aim. We need to visit the CEO today. He needs to explain why he took me to the prison.
"You are right. He will tell me why he allowed my brother to be punished for what he knew nothing about. You have my full support."
"Thank you, Silvester. I can count on you always. I will go and have my birth now, you can do the same using the other bathroom."
Rowan left the room, tying a Chelsea towel around his waist. He was a staunch supporter of Chelsea football team.
When the twosome returned to the room, they ensured that they applied lotion on their skin and wore different expensive attire. They left the hotel after they locked the door and windows.
In a very busy part, this region was close to the market. There were many malls which belonged to the rich men of the society. Rowan and Silvester alighted from the taxi and moved in the direction of a big building. They were ushered into the receptionist office. The receptionist put a call across to the manager.
"You can go in the direction of the left," the young secretary said, pointing to a black door.
"Thank you," Silvester said, looking at the secretary.
The manager's office was well decorated. It had a lot of modern equipment.
"Do have your seat," the manager said, pointing to the chair in front of him.
Rowan looked at the manager and said, "We are not here to sit inside this company that has drunk innocent blood…"
"Escuse me," the manager cut in.
"You heard him right, we won't sit inside this evil company. We are here to see the chief executive officer."
"Then have your seat first," the manager said with a frown.
"We are not here to sit. Who knows whether these are initiation chairs," Rowan said boldly.
"You must be kidding me," the manager said. He handed over the chief executive officer's home address to Rowan.
"Don't tell him that I was the one that gave you his home address. I didn't want to lose my job."
"You don't have to worry. Thank you for your understanding. When did you start work here?" Rowan said, putting his hands into his pocket.
"One year ago!"
"No wonder I don't know you."
"Have you worked here before?" the manager said.
"That's not the business," Silvester said, frowning his face.
Rowan smiled, he brought his cheque book from his budget and hurriedly filled a page up. He handed over a cheque of five million dollars to the manager.
The manager was so surprised. He only earned four hundred thousand dollars as the manager of the company.
"I don't want you to work here again. I want you to go and start your own business. You look like someone who has a lot to give to the world, so sitting inside the office all day long will not do you any good."
"Thank you so much. I have really suffered as the manager of this company."
"It's written all around you. You need to be self-employed. You cannot really go far in life working for another person. No matter how much effort you put in, you can still be displaced at any time."
The manager is so happy for such enlightenment from Rowan. He thanked him for the huge sum of money.
"I will ensure that I tender my resignation letter to the CEO."
"You are a real man." Rowan said.
"Let's go and teach the CEO some lessons he will never forget in his lifetime."
"Yeah," Rowan said. He held Silvester's hand and they left the manager's office.
It was a ten minute drive to the CEO's residence. They alighted from the car and moved in the direction of a gigantic gate.
"This is the foolish man's house," Rowan said, looking at the number written on the gate and the piece of paper in his hand intermittently.
Silvester knocked on the door and a tall man in black shirt came to open the door.
"Good day," he greeted.
"Good day," Rowan greeted.
"How can I help you?"
"You cannot help us. We are the one that will help you. We will deliver you from the hand of the evil CEO," Silvester whispered from behind. Rowan signalled to him to stop.
"Pardon?" the guard said.
"It's nothing," Rowan said with a smile.
"Alright. What do you want."
"We are here to see Engr. Samuel."
"It's alright. You can come in," the guard said, leaving the door wide open.
Silvester and Rowan followed the guard into the compound of Engr. Samuel. The compound was very big, it had ornamental crops that made it attractive.
The guard asked Rowan and Silvester to hold on while he went inside to tell the engineer that he had some visitors. They complied with the guard.
