“What do you mean something is very, very wrong?” I panic. “What happened?”
“We don’t know yet, Your Highness, but it’s best that we get you back to your apartments now.”
“What? No, I can’t just leave if there’s something wrong with Caspian!”
“Your Highness, this doesn’t look like it was an accident. We must get you to safety, immediately.”
I feel sick as I think of someone intentionally hurting Caspian. Why him? There’s no reason that he should be someone’s target. Unless he’s just collateral damage. The hall has become chaotic. Those that have realised what has happened are frantic. People are running around, trying to scramble to the doors and get out.
