Sophie
"Hold her!"
The shout came from behind me just as I jumped off the bus. I didn't bother looking back.
I already knew who it was. My father's creditors. My heart slammed against my chest. I had narrowly escaped them yesterday at the hospital. I tightened my grip on the hot coffee and broke into a run.
"Don't let her get away!" one of the men barked.
Their footsteps thundered behind me, getting closer with every second. My eyes stung with tears. It shouldn’t be today… Today was supposed to be different.
It was my second week working as a coffee delivery girl. I'd skipped my college classes because my father needed another round of treatment. I couldn't sit in a classroom while his hospital bills kept piling up.
Ever since he was diagnosed with a stroke, our lives had been falling apart. The money I'd earn today wouldn't fix everything. But I was hoping to explain things to my boss.
I just needed these men to leave me alone. I risked a glance over my shoulder. Three tattooed men were weaving through the crowd, chasing after me without slowing down.
The mansion was only a few steps away. Please... just let me make it. People on the street watched us. I even saw a woman quickly pull her child aside. No one tried to stop them or get involved.
I couldn't blame them. These men looked frightening, and I was almost at the gate when a rough hand clamped around my arm.
"No!"
The coffee nearly slipped from my fingers. The man jerked me back so hard I stumbled.
"You little brat." His fingers dug painfully into my arm. "Where's our money?"
Tears blurred my vision.
"My father is in the hospital," I pleaded, shaking my head. "Please... just give us a little more time."
"We've given him plenty of time already. Our boss is already getting impatient," one of the men said coldly.
"I just got a job." The words rushed out of my mouth. "I'll pay you back. I don't care how long it takes. Even if it's little by little, I'll pay everything."
The three men burst into laughter.
One of them wiped the corner of his eye as if I'd just told the funniest joke.
"You?" he scoffed. "With that little coffee job?"
"I'll work harder," I whispered, refusing to look away.
He smirked.
"You're still dreaming."
"We're done waiting," another man said in a deep voice. The tallest one slowly looked me up and down. His eyes lingered long enough to make my skin crawl. Then he smiled.
It wasn't kind. It was the kind of smile that warned you something terrible was coming.
"We've found another way to get our money."
A chill ran through me.
"W-what do you mean?"
"We'll sell you."
I stared at him in disbelief. My lips parted, but no words came out.
"A face like yours?" He chuckled. "Men will pay a fortune."
"No..." I took a shaky step backward. "Please..."
He closed the distance between us.
"There's an underground s*x house that will pay well for someone like you."
My whole body trembled.
"I've never..." My voice cracked. "I've never been with a man before."
The men exchanged surprised looks. Then greedy smiles spread across their faces.
"A virgin?" one of them repeated.
"She's worth even more."
My heart sank. Why did I say that? I'd only made things worse. The man holding my arm loosened his grip for the briefest second.
I didn't think. I reacted at once and drove my knee straight into his groin.
"Argh!"
He cried out and loosened his grip. I pulled free and ran.
I didn't look back. I just ran toward the mansion. I pushed the gate open and rushed inside.
When I looked back, the three men had stopped outside.
They stared at me for a moment before turning around and walking away.
My legs were so weak, but I was safe. At least for now.
"Are you the new sugar girl?"
I raised my eyes. An elderly man wearing a brown suit was standing a few steps away.
I was still out of breath. I thought he meant the new delivery girl.
"Yes, sir." I quickly answered.
He looked me over.
"You look different from the others."
I smiled awkwardly.
Maybe he was talking about the girl who had this job before me.
He pointed toward the mansion.
"The boss is waiting upstairs. His bedroom is straight ahead. Don't knock. Just go in."
"Thank you."
I lowered my gaze to the coffee in my hand. It was still warm.
Good.
If I finished this delivery quickly, I could go back to the café, pick up another order, and earn a little more money for my father's hospital bills.
I walked into the mansion, too busy looking at the marble floors and expensive decorations to think about anything else.
When I reached the bedroom door, I didn't hesitate. I pushed it open as the elderly man had instructed.

Damien' POV
Five minutes earlier...
"Big Daddy... I'm begging you. f**k me!"
Sandra's voice was low and inviting.
I turned at once. I'd thought she had left after bringing me a glass of oxblood wine. Instead, her pink nightgown slipped to the floor.
She was wearing nothing but a black bra and a matching G-string. I was just finishing the wine she gave me.
"f**k you?" I repeated, raising an eyebrow.
She smiled as though she already knew my answer.
"You drugged me and sneaked into my bedroom."
"I want you inside me."
She slowly ran her fingers over her body, then stepped closer and brushed them across my chest.
Her breathing was uneven, but I wasn't interested. I caught her wrist and pulled her hand away.
"Have you forgotten what I told you?"
Her smile disappeared.
"No love. No s*x. Those are my rules. I make them clear to every sugar baby I have. Why do I have to keep repeating myself?"
She didn't say a word. She just stood there, looking at me like she could change my mind.
I'd made myself clear from the start. I don't make rules just to break them.
"Mr. Damien," she said as she slipped her fingers under the waistband of her underwear, "if I take everything off, I don't think you'll be able to resist me… You'll still say no?" She smiled. "I don't believe that."
I let out a quiet sigh. She still didn't get it. It wasn't about resisting her. I simply didn't want her.
She kept her eyes on me as she reached for the clasp of her bra. Just as I was about to tell her exactly what I thought of her little game, the bedroom door clicked open.
Who walks into my bedroom without knocking?
A young woman stood frozen in the doorway. She looked so innocent that I didn't even notice the cup of coffee in her hand. Was this my new sugar baby? If she was... she arrived at a better time.

Sophie
The first thing I saw made me freeze. A beautiful woman stood in front of a shirtless man.
Her hand rested on the waistband of her underwear. I'd walked in at the worst possible moment.
Both of them turned to look at me. The woman looked furious.
"Your... your coffee, sir," I stammered, holding out the cup with both hands.
Instead of taking it, the man walked toward me.
My heart pounded, even though I couldn't take my eyes off his chest. He was tall, broad-shouldered, and as striking as the men on the front page of fashion magazines.
He stopped just a few steps away.
"There's something about you," he said while looking at my face.
After a brief pause, he added, "You're irresistible."
I stared at him, confused. Why would he say that when his woman was standing right there?
Before I could think of what to say, a hot slap landed on the right side of my face.
The cup flew out of my hands and shattered on the marble floor.
My cheek burned. I stood there in shock, staring at the tea on the floor and wondering what I would tell my boss.
"Listen carefully," the woman snapped. "That innocent face of yours isn't going to fool anyone. Mr. Damien isn't interested in girls who pretend to be sweet."
"I... I don't know what you're talking about."
She ignored me and turned to Damien.
"So this is the new sugar girl you brought to replace me?"
Her eyes swept over me with open disgust.
"This frightened little delivery girl?"
She spoke as if I wasn't even there, but Damien didn't answer.
His silence only made her more upset. She immediately raised her hand again.
I closed my eyes, expecting another slap. But it never came. When I opened my eyes, Damien had caught her hand midway.
"Enough, Sandra," he said with authority.
"I can give you everything she can't," the woman pleaded. "Just give me one more chance."
"I didn't ask for your opinion," he said. "You and I are done."
She stared at him in disbelief. The cold-looking man pressed a button on the wall. Within seconds, two men in black suits entered the room.
"Take her out."
Sandra's previous confidence vanished, and her lips trembled.
"Please... don't do this. I'm sorry."
Neither man said a word. They simply escorted her out. The door closed behind them.
Silence returned to the bedroom. That's when it became clear to me I was alone with him.
Damien looked at me for a while before walking toward me again. He stopped so close that I could feel his breath.
"You're not bad at all," he said.
"Sir?" I whispered.
He leaned a little closer. For one terrifying second, I thought he was about to kiss me, and I was afraid my eyes would betray me.
I quickly placed my hand against his chest to stop him.
"Sir, you've made a mistake."
"A mistake?" he asked.
"I'm not your sugar girl. I'm not that kind of girl. And I would never do such a thing."
He held my gaze. Then, to my surprise, he raised his voice.
"How did you get here?"
Was he not the one who requested the coffee?
