I’m overly aware of how quickly my heart is beating. I guess when I started taking self defense classes I never really took into account there are men as big as Jack out there.
He’s staring at me so intensely that makes my pulse quicken even more. I’m fully convinced my heart is going to explode if it beats any faster.
