Chapter one: new neighbors

Morning comes like always as i heard my phone ring. I opened my eyes slowly. I looked to see my phone ring like crazy. I groaned and grabbed my phone from the night stand as it was still plugged to the charger.

“Hello?”

“Hey jeannie, i’m coming soon, get up for school already.” i groaned again and just comb my hair back from my face with my hand.

“Okay danny.” i hung up and put my phone back on my nightstand. I got up from my bed and i removed my blanket from my legs. I was wearing my sport shorts. The cold breeze hot my legs. I live in los angeles california and it was in the middle of winter. It was chilly at the moment. I got off my bed and i look to see its still 7 am. I'll take a quick shower before leave. I went to my closet and pulled out my ripped back jeans. I also took out my army design v cut shirt. I then went to a set of drawer in my closet and pulled out a new pair of bra and underwear. I walked to my bathroom put my new fresh clothes on the bathroom counter.. Once i entered i removed my sport shorts and tank top. I went to turn on the shower to make the water warm. Once the water was warm i removed my underwear going the the shower.

30 minutes shower later and maybe a 10 minutes of applying makeup i walked out the bathroom. My hair was semi dry which was good by me. I like to let my hair to air dry on it own. It more healthier then blow drying it. My hair was medium length at the monet and i plan to grow it out to my waist. My hair was naturally curly plus it black. I hate how it a dark color but i lived with it. I dyed my hair in the past and i damaged my hair to many times. I like my natural color at this point. I put on my socks as i just my phone started to ring again. It was danny. I declined and texted danny.

“Come in and make my ice coffee for me.” i got a reply right away.

“Okay.” i put my last sock on. I got up grabbing my phone from the charger. I grabbed my bag from next to my desk. I made sure to open my bag if i got everything. I didn't need my charger since i barely use my phone during school hours. I closed my bag amd joggers out my room.

“I’ll be waiting outside jen!” yelled danny as i reach my stairs. I rolled my eyes eyes. Danny is alway in a hurry. Danny is my best friend and childhood friend. We known each other ever since elementary school. I stood up to a bully for him and we became friends because of that. I walked to the front door putting on my white converse real quick. I walked out my house and I locked it from the inside out. My parents own a successful car repair company so there never home anyways other then the weekend. My mom helps with the final and taxes. my dad handes the car and employees. I jogged to danny car and entered the passenger seat.

“Finally! Now were going to late hopefully not.” i sighed in frustration as danny gave my ice coffee in a hydro flask. He always do this. I put on my seatbelt.

“School start in 15 minutes dan. school is like a 5 minutes from my house compared to yours.” i said and danny started to drive. I put my bag on my lap.

“Still i need to meet up with val you know my girlfriend.” danny looked at me for a second as he turned right. He focused on the road again.

“Oh right like val is more important than me.” i sarasicelly said looking out the window.

“No your more important jen it just she clingy sometimes.” danny and i made it to school as he entered school campus.

“Sorry i jumped to conclusions.” danny parked near the school doors. He finally found a spot and parked the car. I removed my seatbelt and put my bag on one of my shoulders. I got out the car as danny turned off his car. I closed his passenger seat door.

“I forgive you.” danny got out his car reaching for the back grabbing his bag. He closed his door locking his car after. We started to walk to the front doors. I was going to say something but then i saw a crowd of girl in the front.

“Speak of the devil.” i stopped walking and danny groaned grabbing my waist. He pulled me close to him as we walk into the crowd.

“Another reason why we should come early. The popular boys make a crowd too. “ i just chuckled.

“I’ll note that.” i lean close to danny. We walk past the crowd pretty quickly. Danny and i walked in without any pushing from the crowd of girls involved.

“I remind you.” danny looked at me with amused face as we walked to are locker to meet up with val his girlfriend.

“Baby?” val grabbed danny ams as we walked out the classroom. It was now lunchtime and once again danny wants to go the cafeirca before the popular boys make the cafeteria crowned. All i know is that there only three boys and they makes all the girl crazy. One which is the leader or alpha and his name is joey. The other are name har and greg,

“Yes babe?” danny look down at val.

“Can we share food? Me and jen will wait. I’m sure jen has her own lunch packed.” val looked at me with a let talk face. Danny sighed.

“No you wait for us at are table. I pick up jen this morning and she did not pack lunch. Just wait for us okay?” val looked at me with a glare. I just figured as val let go of danny arm and walked to are table which was next to the poplar table. Were the only three people that sit there because no want to get involved with the popular boys. Danny grabbed my wrist and we walked to the line. I still felt val’s glare behind my back of my head. We entered the lunch line. Danny let go of me and combed his hair back with his hands.

“Just break up with her danny, you been dating like three years now? I think she took advantage of your kindness.” i said right away. Danny looked away as we moved up the line.

“I can try but she wouldn't let me go.”

“Just say it don't look back. That what i did with isaac remember?” i said and we made it to the food. Danny gave me a tray of nachos and a fruit bowl. He got the hamburger. I swear danny is always giving me the better lunch when he sees it.

“I wish i was as confident as you. I haven't gain more confidence ever since elementary school. You alway carry me when i get scared.” danny and i made it to the milk and he gave me milk. He also got a milk.

“You just didn't grow up and you have to learn to be tough. That the point of growing up. You too sensitive to people feelings.” we reach the lunch lady and danny put in his pin. I out my pin after. Me and danny have free lunch.

“That i can understand. For sure you're right about me being sensitive to people's feelings.” danny and i walk out the food area to are table. We walked there in peace. Once back to are table danny sat next to val passing his tray to val. She looked disgusted by the food. She look at mines as i sat far from her and danny.

“Why does she have nachos and you have this shit.” val looked pissed.

“Just eat. That was the only one i saw when we were in line.” danny looked frustrated and not happy. He looked like he was thinking. Maybe he might just break up val finally with confidence.

“Fine whatever.” val picked up the burger in hesitation and disgust. I just put my bag on my lap as i started to eat my nachos. I shaked my head and danny looked at me with a your right face. I just put a smirk on my face.

“Hey babe.” all sudden i felt arm around my shoulder. I looked to see who is was and i just froze.

“j-joey?” i questioned confused as hell. Danny and val were confused too. Joey lean in and whispered in my ear.

“Just pretend we're hooking up tonight, trying to get a girl off my back.” i felt his not breath against my skin. i just nodded without not knowing what to say. Joey lean back and he had a smirk on his face. He moved his arm from my shoulder down to my waist. I can tell danny was looking pissed. I couldn't move or do anything at this point. joey pulled me closer to him. I just continued to eat my fruit alsd as i felt joey's eyes on me.

“What girl is this to make you want to pretend?” i asked in a low voice. Joey looked surprised that i was talking to him.

“It lesley kien, you know the lead cheerleader. I have fun with her to much if you know what i mean.” joey said in a low voice. i looked at joey with a smirk still on his face. I put my bag on my d=side since it was getting annoying and in my way of eating.

“I do know what you mean but that doesn't mean you have to pick me out of all girls.” i stopped eating and gave my tray to val. She just grabbed my tray without hesitation. I have plenty of food at home.

“To be honest you just seem different then all the other girls. I just want to see if i was right plus you look cute. Now that i’m close up to you, you actually pretty hot. if your down, we can hook up one day.” joey looked down at my legs and i just scoffed.

“Not happening joey.” i said and he chuckled.

“What can i do to convince you?” joey lean in making are faces close. I can hear people from his table whistling. I looked to see lesley mad like val was earlier.

“You can’t convince me joey, i’ll tell you this i’m stubborn to the bone.” i put a smirk on my face. I can tell joey was looking in my eyes to my lips.

“Stubborn? We’ll see about that one day but for now this is just are introduction.” joey lean in more and came into kissing my lips but he kisses near my lips. I guess he want lesley to think were actually hooking up of course. I was shocked. Joey pulled away looking at me with a smirk. He got up from next to me and walked back to his table. I was still shocked by what happend. Just then danny got up with his bag over one of his shoulder and walked over to me.

“Let's talk jen.” danny grabbed my hand and i just nodded. Danny looked pissed. I grabbed my bag out as val was confused. She was still eating my nachos. We walked out the cafeteria. Danny was pulling me gently which was nice of him. Most of the time when danny mad he kind of rough. I noticed joey still looking at me as we walked out the cafeteria. Once we were out the cafeteria danny pulled to a empty hallway.

“What was that about? What did he say to you?” danny asked me questions right away.

“Clam down daniel.” i called danny by his secondary name that only me and his parents call him. “He just wanted lesley off his back. He kissed me near my lip but not on my lips. “ i point to where joey kissed me. Danny sighted in frustration.

“So he didn’t kiss you but he touched you.” danny walk up to me and hugged me by my shoulders.

“You overprotective daniel. Next time i tell him off okay?” i said and danny tighten the hug pulling me closer to him.

“you better.” danny kissed my head. danny always kissed my head when he’s worried about me.

“baby?” i heard val voice and we looked to see val more pissed than before. She looked at me and i just hid my face. Danny kissed my head again.

“Let me do this real quick and we can talk more about this.” danny whispered to me. He looked up at val. “Okay let me get this out my way, val i don't have time for you anymore. Were over.” danny let go of me and grabbed my hand. This time he pulled me roughly as val was shocked by what she heard. I just looked away and danny pulled me back in the cafeteria.

“Hey danny.” danny dropped ome off my house and he still looked pissed from lunch time. I calmed him down several times but nothing worked. i glad he broke thing off with val.

“Sorry about earlier. I just hate how joey can just touch you like that.” danny turned off his car. I sighed. What am i going to do with this guy? He my childhood friend but he also like a dad in some ways too.

“Text me if you want to talk okay? You need to calm down daniel.” i kissed danny cheak real quick and got out danny car. I noticed danny looking at me as i close the door. I pout my bag over one of my shoulders. And i waved at danny car. He had tinned windows so i couldn't see him. I saw a small hand figure wave and danny drove away. I looked back at my house and i noticed moving trucks. So people finally moved in that house. I remember the house was danny’s before his dad got a new job more far. He was forced to move but he doesn't live that far from me, just a 10 minute drive. I walked to my front door and unlocked it. I saw a car drive in the driveway and i ignored it knowing we’ll meet them soon.

“Hey honey.” my mom said in the kitchen. I looked to see she was baking a cake. My mom doesn't bake but she does for on reason if possible.

“For the neighbors?” i asked and my mom just smiled.

“Did you meet them yet? I think there son should be home by now.” my mom left the cake to cool.

“No but i know i’ll meet them soon.” i walked to the stairs leaving my hydro flask on the kitchen counter. I ran up the stairs. Then it hit me. “Where dad?” i asked realizing my dad isn’t home.

“He coming home soon too. Just had some extra paperwork to get done.” my mo look at me as she started to clean the dishes. I nodded and walked to my room. Once in my room i put my bag on my bed and went to my balcony. I open the curtain and i saw danny old room being set up already. Ton of boxes in the room already. Danny old room was across from my room. We used to talk to each other by whiteboards and markers as kids. It was fun. A bed frame was build up with a mattress against the wall. I roped up the curtains. I went back to my desk to sit while i pulled out my phone. I looked thigh my text.

Unknown: “hey baby girl.” i usually ignore unknown numbers but i replied anyways really curious.

“Who is this?” i got a reply right away.

“Joey limo.” i froze.

“How did you get my number?”

“I have my ways.” i rolled my eye. I looked over to danny’s old room again. I saw a figure walk in holding two boxes. Dam he looks strong and bult. I couldn't see his face because of the boxes. I got of my desk chair and grabbed my bag from my bed. I didn't even look back at danny old room knowing my new neighbor can see me.

(joey’s perspective)

There i shocked. I look beside me and i saw jeannie if i remember her name. She was at her desk starting to do homework. I put my last box down and pulled out my phone. I saw she did reply to my text. I took a picture of her at her desk and send it to her. I hope she sees this soon. I put my phone away in my back pocket of my jeans. I grabbed my mattress removing the plastic before putting it gently on the frame. I wanted to sleep on a bed right away as soon as we moved. Now time to unpack my stuff. I went to my empty closet with nothing inside. I went to my boxes labeled clothes. I opened them to see my jacket and hoodies. Perfect. these i got for first. Ding. i got a text back. i looked at the name to see jeannie texted me. She finally saw the picture.

“I feel like i’m being stalked.” i just chuckled. I looked to see jeannie as her desk. I texted back knowing maybe she in her bathroom.

“I just saw you too and i’m shocked myself. Where you are baby girl?“

“Changing out of my school clothes, Do you mind.” so se is in her bathroom. I do see her closet open.

“Just expect me to check you out when i see you.”

“Oh i know.” i put a smirk on my face and put my phone back in my pocket. I continued to unpack

“Let go joe.” my dad said as we all walked out my new house. We were now going to jeanie house to introduce are self.

“Yes dad.” i fixing my shirt and i walked out my my house. I closed the door since i was the last to come out. We all walked to the next ouse. There was some rose bushes planted which was nice but also i noticed the garage was open. I saw two cars and one was a lexi. It ;look like it was getting fixed up.

“Hey joey, just know are neighbor own a trade in car shop company.” i was surprised.

“Oh at least i know who to ask if my car goes wrong.” i said jokingly. My parents laughed. It is true though. I mean if the own a big house like this then that means there successful. We made it the front door and my dad knocked on the door. After a few minutes of waiting the door opened to relevel a woman near my moms age.

“Hello there, come on in.” my mom looked at me and my dad. We walked in. once inside i was surprised by the decorations.

“We made some cookie just in case. So i’m lurane and this s my husband jack.” lurane pointed to a man in the kitchen.

“Nice to meet you too. I’m martin, this my wife alyssa. This is my my son joey.” my dad introduced us.

“Nice to meet you martin, alyssa, joey.” jack walked up to us after he washed his hands. He pulled out his hands and we all sjaked it. “I would introduce my daughter but she-oh hey honey come meet the new neighbors.” i looked up to see jeannie in a normal t shirt and black jeans. It different from what she was wearing but it was still showing off her curves and long legs.

“Hi sorry, just got done talking to a friend on the phone. Nice to meet you i’m jeannie.” jeannie walked up to us and pulled out her hand. My parents shakes her hand and when she came to me i shaked her hand and had a firm grip. She bit her lip out of nervousness. I can tell.

“It nice to meet everyone. My mom said happy. What a start.

“Why don't you take joey to your room honey, you both look like tha same age.” lurane said and i froze. Same with jeannie.

“No lurane, that not a good idea.” jack said but jeannie sighed. She walked up to me and grabbed my hand for a second. Jack froze. Is ghed myself just following jeannie to the stairs. We walked up as i saw jack looking at me.

“I’ll leave my door open dad!” jeannie yelled and we made it to her room. It looked better then from far away. Jeannie left her door open wide as promised. I sat on her soft bed. It was pretty big. It could fit two people. “So can you explain to me how you got my number?” jeannie asked looking down at me. She was standing over me. I just put a smirk on my face and i grabbed her by the waist before she could react. She was now between my legs. Jeannie friend and i just chuckled. I like this view for sure.

“I got it from isaac phone secretly. He still had your number apparently.” i said and jeanie looked annoyed.

“Of course isaac still have my number. Can i ask you one question?” jeannie look down at me and i hugged her waist. She put her hands on my shoulders for support.

“Go ahead.” i still had a smirk on my face.

“why are you interested in me?” i just lean in whispering in her ear.

“Because you're different and i want to get to know you, plus were neighbor’s too so it convent.” i felt jeannie's breathing stop.

You should let go of me before my dad sees us.” jeanie said and i just lean in more kissing her neck. She stopped breathing again. I kissed her neck again and this time i kept going until i found her sweet spot. She moaned softly and i was turned on right away. I bit the skin leaving a mark and she moaned softly again.

“Joey..” jeannie said weak. I pulled away after leaving two marks.

“Thank me later baby girl.” i whispered. I lean back to see jean slightly blushing. This going to be fun living next to her.
