Chapter two: buddies?

I woke up to someone entering my bed. I felt arm around me as my blacket went over my body. I open my eye slow;y as i saw a familiar face in front of me looking down at me. I realized it was joey. i gasped and got up quickly. I ghti the wall behind me.

“Joe-what are you doing here!?” i asked shocked. How did he get in my house?

“Oh morning babe.” joey had smirk on his face as he looked at me up and down. I looked down to see i’m in my calvin klein underwear and a black tank top. i gasped again and covered myself with my blanket. “Now i’m cold.” joey looked at me with a pouting face. I just rolled my eyes.

“Why are you in my house? Why are you in my room?” i asked looking at my clock near my desk. It was still 6:30 am.

“For your information i was told by my parent and your that now since we're going to the same school we might as well go together. I can me to wake you up as your parents requested this morning.” joey said and i face palmed. Of course are parents wouldn't say that.

“Do you mind getting out my room so i can take a shower and get ready for school?” i asked still covering up my body.

“Oh that a no babe. I saw your body and now i just want to f**k like there no tomorrow.” joey craw to me na di just pushed him away with my free hand. He chuckled as he fell back on my bed.

“Get out!” i yelled and joey rolled his eyes. He got off my bed dusting off his jeans. He fixed his jacket.

“Want anything to eat on your way then? I cook for you real quick.” i was surprised by what i heard. I sighed.

“Maybe just a toast with butter is fine.” i said. Joey nodded and walked out my room grabbing his bag.

“Aslo text you friend to not pick you up. I’ll be your ride from now on.” joey walked my room. I jumped off my bed locking the door right away. I combed my hair back with my hand in frustration. Great now joey will drive me to school too. I went to grab my phone that was charging and texted danny.

“No need to pick me up. My new neighbor will drive me to school.” i went to my drawer to grabbed my clothes for the day. I went to do my shower but this time i rushed it making it only 15 minutes. I put my everyday light makeup which took me 10 minutes. I changed and walked out my bathroom shaking my head removing the extra water. I combed my hair with my hand making my hair split naturally. I put on my socks real quick. I walked out my room grabbing my bag and phone from the charger. I saw i got a text back from danny.

Danny: “who your new buddy?” i scoffed and replied as i jogged down the stairs.

“Don't be mad when you find out and were not buddies.” i locked my phone putting it in my back pockets of my black ripped jeans.

“Lets go?” joey handed me a toast with peanut butter. “There no more butter or i’m just blind. Just go with it.” joey and i walked out the front door.

“My friend already know that your my new ride.” i took a bite if my toast.

“Good, i promise to try to keep my hands to myself while were in the car.” joey unlocked his car in the driveway. I was shocked by what i saw. He had a tesla model x. I just stood there frozen. “What up babe?” joey stopped himself as he noticed me.

“What does your parents do for living?” i asked as i continued to walk.

“It a present for my uncle for my 18 birthday. He work in the esla company and he got me the hook up.” joey open the passenger seat for me by the car key.

“Lucky you, my dad is fixing a surprise car for me so i don't know what car i’m getting. Just saying this i know how to drive it just my dad wanted me to upgrade from my toyota.” i said . i took a bite of my toast. Joey just nodded.

“I know what car you getting and i was going to ask you about it but i not asking you anymore. “ i entered the car and joey closed the door as i put my seat belt.. I put my bag on my lap. Joey walked to the driver seat. He put his bag n th back as he put on his seatbelt.

“Can you give me a hint?” i aksd really wanting to know now. I was told not to look at the garage because my dad working on it in there.

“Nope, don't want to ruin the surprise your dad promise you.” joey started his car. I just sighed looked out the window taking another bite of my toast.

“Nevermind then.” joey started to back up his driveway.

“By the way just stay close to me when we get out my car when we reach school.” i looked at joey as he started to drive.

“Oh you think every girl will go after me?” i ate my last bit of my toast.

“After they see me with you? Yes they will babe, they’ll think you one of my play toys. I did make a scene during lunch yesterday at lunch.” joey was focused on the road.

“Play toy huh? I wonder what my bestie will think if i tell him this.” i just pulled out my phone from my back pocket. I saw another text from danny

Danny: “i’m at school already. The popular boys are here yet so hurry up. Wait is your neighbor a popular boy?” i closed my ;lips together and looked at joey forced on the road. I texted danny back.

“Yes but you need to find out who it is. That's why i said not to get mad okay? be there in a few.” i locked my phone and me and joey made it to school. We entered the parking lot and i saw a lot of eyes on his car. Everyone knew joey’s car of course. He parked on a spot near a lamborghini and a lexi. I guessing that his friends cars. Joey turned off his car.

“Let go.” joey grabbed his bag and i got out the car. Right way heard people talking. I closed the door and i saw two other boys in the front surrounded by girl already and they looked shocked. I bit my lip and put my bag over one of my shoulder. Joey came from beside me all sudden and grabbed my hand and we walked to the front. His hand was so much bigger than danny’s. I walked near him as all eyes were on us. “Don't let the people judgement get to you. There just shocked that a girl came out of my car. It rare for that to happen especially when i said i f**k them but i don't let them in my car or give them a car ride.“ joey said in a low voice for me to hear.

“Thanks for trying to comfort me.” i said sarcastically. Joey shaked his head and we met up with his friends.

“Hey man this the girl from yesterday?” a blonde with blue eyes asked looking at me up and down. Joey right away let go of my hand and hugged me by my shoulders.

“Mines harry, no looking.” joey kissed my head. “Go and meet up with your friend. I’ll see you at lunch maybe.” joey whispered in my ear. I just nodded. Joey left go of me and i walked away. I felt all eyes on me as the three boys got crowded with some girls companting. I walked in the school to meet up with danny.

“So why would you just tell me who this popular boy is? I need to know jen.” danny hand his arm over my shoulder as we walked out of class. Danny been bugging me ever since this morning.

“You need to find out yourself dan.” i said as we walked to the cafeira.

“I swear if its joey i’ll be more protective than ever.” danny pulled me closer to him.

“I’ll go sit down, go grab are lunch. I’m not that hungry right now.” i removed danny arm and he sighed.

“It your choice jen.” danny walked to the line. I just sat at the table and before i could sit i felt someone grab my waist.

“Your sitting with us babe.” joey pulled me close to him. I rolled my eyes.

“Joe-” just then i was pulled back by my wrist. I looked to see danny pissed. Joey was confused what was going on.

“So i was right then.” danny looked at me and just nodded.

“You can sit with us bro if you really protective of her. Joey grabbed my wrist and pulled me to his chest. I just closed my eyes. This is getting out of hand. I saw a lot of people looking are way.

“Just go dan, i’ll save a spot for you.” i said. I looked at danny and combed his hair back.

“Okay.” danny walked away looking really pissed off. Joey pulled me gently by my wrist and we walked to his table. I can tell his friends save his spot and a exria spot. Harry if i remember got up from the seat and joey sat down where harry was sitting. I sat next to joey as he put his arm around my waist. I put my bag on my lap. He pulled me close to him i saw his other friend put his bag next to me saving a spot for danny.

“Oh right this is greg and harry.” joey pointed at the two gentlemen. Harry sat own and then i noticed the table was empty. Usually there would be girls sitting around them.

“Nice to meet you.” i said and harry looked at me with a smirk. joey pulled me close to him.

“Harry, mines remember?” joey said and harry looked away. i Just giggled to the way joey has a alpha effect on them. I mean he looks more stronger than them. Harry was built but not to built. Greg as the same as joey but slightly smaller.

“Sorry man, so who was that protecting you anyways?” asked harry looking around. All the girls were looking at me.

“That danny my bestie and childhood friend. I call him dan for short.” harry nodded,

“Make sense why he acts like that towards you. You have a good friend there.” greg said looking at me.

“He did break up with his clingy w***e girlfriend just yesterday so i'm trying to cheer him up here. Maybe you guy can help me?” to be honest now that i think about it danny never had any guy friends or friend in general other than me.

“Solo frat party are the best for him. Does he f**k for fun?” joey asked looking at me.

“I did when i had a girlfriend but for now i dont f**k for fun.” danny came to are table and grag removed his bag. Danny sat next to me. He grave his f=tray of pizza and fruit salad. I just went for the fruit salad.

“Are you down t f**k around though. I already have this girl.” joey looked at me and danny looked pissed.

“nah, i’m not that type of guy. I am down to hang with you guys at parties though. I’ll be the driver so all of you guys can get drunk.” danny grabbed the pizza. Danny knew i hate school lunch. All the guys looked at each other and smirked.

“Okay looks like we found are new friend and designated driver.” greag out his hand out to danny and they did a guy handshake. I just started to laugh and shaked my head. I’m glad that danny found guy friends he can hang out with. I thought he hated the popular boy for a reason but he fit in with them. For me i don't know why i’m here.

“So you haven't told us your name yet..” greg looked at me.

“Jeannie smith, call me jen if you like.” i said and danny shaked his head.

“Can we call you dan too?” harry asked looking at danny.

“Sure, i don’t mind.” danny grabbed the milk and opened it.

“Cool, welcome to the group jen, dan.” joey kissed my head and lean against joey. I saw danny looking at me with a really face. I grabbed my phone wrote on a notepad.

“Let it go, i’m going with the flow. I’ll explain everything to you. When i have the chance.” i showed the note and danny read it. He nodded. Danny continued to drink the milk. I ate the last grape on the fruit salad. Now we're officially part of the popular group.

“So you said you'd explain things with me?” danny said in a low voice and i walked in are last class which was study hall and we usually do are homework but this time he wanted to talk.

“Okay so you know when he hit on me during lunch yesterday? Everyone think i’m his toy now because of that. It best for me to go with the flow since that the case but he living next to me and are parent are great friends. I have to let him drive me to school and so on.” i explain in one as we sat down in the very back table. I put my bag on my lap.

“So your parent are friend and they expect you to be friend too? I get it that you have to get rides from him but go with the flow?” danny outhis bag next to him near his seat.

“I walked out his car this morning and now everyday. Same with after school. I have to to home with him if possible.” i pulling out my math notebook from my bag.

“Well if you put it in that way and plus people think you his toy then i understand but make sure he doesn't take advantage of you.” danny also took out his math notebook from his bag.

“I’ll fight back if o need too.” i took out one led pencil and opened my math notebook. I looked at my notes for my homework.

“Hello there danny, jeannie.” me and danny looked up to see val sitting in front of me.

“Hi val?” i said confused. Danny moved his chair closer to me.

“You're Part of the popular group now uh? You too danny. You know how hard it is to be part of the popular group or get join the popular group.” val yelled whispered at us.

“Sorry val but it just happened just like that. I guess they choose who they want in there group.” danny said as i started to do my math homework.

“The choose? No way they choose who they want.” val seem angry.

“Joey choose me and i introduce them to dan, they like him so they s=also choose him.” i said continuing to do my math homework.

“Why would the leader of the popular group choose you?” val looked at me more pissed. Danny was going to say something but then i felt someone hug me from behind. Val looked shocked. Danny rolled his eyes.

“I can choose anyone whoever you are. Come on babe, we're going home early.” i looked to see joey and he had a smirk on his face. “Babe?” joey looked at me and i chuckled.

“I don't think dan would be good alone with his ex?” i said. Joey looked surprised. He looked up and i saw harry and greg.

“We’ll stay with him. Beside we need to make party plans for tonight.” harry said and joey let go of me. He grabbed my hand gently. i got it from my seat grabbing my math notebook. Harry sat in my seat. Greg sat across from danny. Joey out his arm around my waist. we walked out the library where study hall was taking place.

“We can facetime jen about homework.” dan yelled as val got up from the table. She sat with her friends at a different table. I put my math notebook in my nag and led pencil in my small pocket on the side of my bag.

“Facetime? Can we facetime?” joey whispered in my ear as we walk out the library.

“I don't trust you that much joey.” i put my bag over one of my shoulders.

“I thought we were buddies already babe.” joey and i walked down the stairs.

“No not yet joey.” i sighed as=nd we made it the the main level of the school the main offices and attendance office. Me and joey walked out like on care at all. There was the security school officer and he didn't care. I was surprised. Joey and i walked over to the front door.

“What time does your parent come home?” joey asked as we walked to his car. I gave it something. My parents have different schedules.

“Let me text my parents. They own a business so i don't know.” i said looking at joey. Joey nodded.

“My house it is.” joey and i walked to his car. He open the door by the key again. I just shaked my head as i entered the car. Joey closed my door. I put my seat belt on He walked to the driver seat.

“What are we planning to do at your house?” i asked looking at joey as he entered the driver seat. He put on is seatbelt.

“Just homework since i stopped you and dan from homework plus i don’t think your parents would like to know you skipped you last class.” joey started his car.

“Don't worry joey, study hall is not even a class.” i pulled out my phone to see a text from danny

Danny: “want to go to a party tonight. Of course you going to be joey’s date. Make sure he doesn't make you wear a tiny dress.” i texted danny back joey back up and he looked who i was texting.

“I’m down just let me tell you parent the lie. You don’t seem like a good liar” joey started to drive.

“Okay, joey said he tell my parents a lie for me. I make sure he doesn't make me wear anything tiny.”

“Good, see you tonight. Joey should know where the party is. What car does he drive?”

“Tesla model x.” i didn't get a reply for a good minute.

“Is he shocked?” joey looked at me for a second before he focused on the road again.

“Of course.” i got the reply

“You can drive that right? He can teach you?” i looked at joey as he parked in his driveway.

“I can but i also don't trust you on my car. I’ll teach you on are way to the party tonight.” joey turn off his car. I sighed. I got out the car and joey did the same.

“I have food at my house so you can eat too.” joey locked his car and we walked to the front door. I put my bag over on of my shoulder.

“You haven't ate yourself joey.” we made it to the front door and joey opened it. He let me walk in first.

“I don't eat school lunch babe.” joey entered in and closed the door. I looked around joey's house and i can tell my mom been helping with decorating.

“Did you know that danny used to live here?” i said as we walked to the kitchen the kitchen was still a mess. There was kitchen stuff everywhere. I noticed the plates and cups were put away though.

“Sorry for the mess. Were still getting stuff put away.” joey out his bag on the kitchen counter.

“I understand what your going through. I been there before.” i put my bag next to joey bag.

“My bedroom need help, do you mind? we can do that plus i seen your room. Your more tightly than me.” joey went to his fridge and pulled out a whole cooked chicken.

“Your room was danny old room by the way.” i said sitting on the counter. Joey looked looked at me surprised.

“Oh really?”

“Yup, we used to write messages to each other on white boards as kids.” i looked at my phone to see it 3 pm. Anther 20 minutes and were out of school.

“Want to do that too?” joey cut a pieces of chicken and put on a plates.

“We have phone joey, before we didn't have phones. Nah, i’m good.” i looked to the living room all done and decorated. My mom definitely help them.

“Still might as well for fun.” joey put brown rice on the plates.

“Nah, my parents would say i’m weird for doing that as a adult.” i looked at joey as he walked over to me with are food. He put my plate next to me with a fork.

“That true.” joey puthis pates next to me and went to put the knife he used to cut in the sink. He put the chicken back in the fridge. I just started to eat.

“Sorry if the chicken is cold but are microwave isn't set up yet.” joey grabbed his plate and fork and started to eat.

“It fine, i ate cold food before.” i put the plate down to reach for my phone. Just then my phone was taken away. “Hey!” joey waved my phone at me as he put it in his back pocket of his jeans.

“Time to be socal, no phones until we're done cleaning and fixing up my room.” joey said and i groaned. I just sighed giving up. Joey is to much for me. I grabbed my pate again to eat. Joey put his plate down and put both his hands on the side of my legs.

“Joey?” i was confused.

“I wish i can f**k you like this but i don't think my parents would approve.” he hugged me by my waist pulling me closer to him. I put my plate down on the counter.

“Well to bad, you want to clean your room right? That all were doing today big boy.” i removed joey's hands from my waist. Joey walked away with a smirk.

“Okay babe, looks like you found a nickname you me.” joey grabbed his plate to eat.

“Looks like i did.” i grabbed my plate and started to eat.
