Chapter nineteen: ex and new girlfriend

"Woah, dude! you bought a truck?" harry said shocked as joey parked in the school campus. joey parked his Tesla in the garage. my dad wanted to work on it so joey let him do it since joey got a truck. joey's dad was happy he got a truck, they can now handle big bulky items. 

"I wanted one and Jen would like to drive my truck one day too. can you imagine how hot that sounds?"  joey said and he looked at me with a smirk. I rolled my eyes grabbing joey's arm. I put my bag over one of my shoulders. 

"girl driving a car like that yes sounds hot. I know a few girls who actually drives trucks though. what car do you have Jen?" Greg asked and he looked at me as we started to walk towards the school joey locked his truck as we walked away. 

"I drive a fixed Lexi that my dad bought. joey helped my dad too. I plan to get a new ca now since Joey got a new car actually." I said and joey looked supirsed. harry opened the door for us ad Danny walk in first. 

"joey influence you a lot you huh? what car do you want?" Danny asked as we all walked in Greg walked right behind us. 

"I drove joey's tesla many times before so I want a sports car, maybe you guys can help me choose?" I questioned and the boys all looked at each other. 

"do you like fast-fast?" harry asked and I gave it some thought. 

"we'll talk about it later, for now, we need to get to class," I say as I need to to think. they also need to think as I'm not a car fan unlike them. they also collect shoes too. we walked continued to walk down the hallway to our class.

"dan!" someone yelled from behind us. we all stopped walking and Danny turned around first and he rolled his eyes. I turned around with harry, Greg, and joey glancing. it was val Danny's ex. she was in a tight dress showing off her body with a jacket on. her expansive bag hanging off her shoulders. she had layers of makeup on. she definitely went through some s**t to look like that. 

"I'll meet you guys later, go ahead." Danny put his hand on my shoulders and he walked pasted us to Val with a smile. joey pulled me as we continued to walk. it been months since Danny and Val spoke to each other. I have seen Val at some party but I never bother to approach her since I can't leave joey's side. 

"who's that." harry asked and I just rolled my eyes. 

"Danny's crazy ex, they dated for three years. you can say he lost the love and affection for the last year they were dating," I say and they all looked supirsed. 

"make sense why Danny is picky with girls. was she stubborn and selfish or more like entitled?" harry questioned and I shrugged. we made it class and Greg opened the door for us. I walked in first and joey was second. 

"Danny has always been picky, even with food. she could say she's a little entitled." I sat down in my seat putting my bag next to my chair, joey sat on his. we still had ten minutes till class starts. harry and Greg sat at empty seats near us. 

"really? every time we eat out he eats anything." Greg said and he looked at me. 

"Does he only eat the meat you guys order. he not a big fan of vegetables. the only vegetable he'll eat is broccoli." I say and they all look at each other thinking. 

"he does push other vegetables away and orders meat only dishes. does he even gain weight or does he work out secretly?" harry asked and was on his phone. 

"he runs in the morning during the weekend but he rarely gains weight. he does lift a little in his homemade gym in his garage. his dad likes to stay in shape." I pulled out my phone. I saw a text from Danny

Danny: "come out, we need to talk." I froze right on the spot and got up from my seat. joey noticed me and he grabbed my arm. 

"where you going?" joey whispered and harry and Greg looked at me confused. 

"dan needs to talk to me in private," I say and joey let go of my arm. he knows that I and dan have are own private things we talk about. his relationship is one of them as I told joey that Danny went through some problems with his ex aka val. 

"go, Danny needs you." joey said and harry and Greg just looked away. I guess Danny told them a few things too. I just went to walk out of the classroom. joey nodded at Harry and Greg is they let me walk out. I turned around the corner and saw Danny looking down at the ground. I tapped Danny's shoulders and Danny noticed me. 

"let's talk here." Danny grabbed my hand and he walked me to around the corner. Danny stopped pulling and he leans against the wall. I lean against the wall as Danny let go of my hand. 

"what happened?" I asked and Danny sighed. 

"val wants to get back together. she saw me at parties having fun and she 'regrets' that she was never loving or affection to me." I scoffed and rolled my eyes. 

"she was clingy but I don't love her anymore. I rather go for this other girl." Danny said and he looked away blushing. I was shocked and I looked at Danny. 

"tell me who this girl is and ignore val for now. we need to get back to class. the bell is about to ring." I grabbed Danny's hand and Danny rolled his eyes. we walked back to class and when we walked in joey, harry and Greg were talking about girls. they noticed us and I let go of Danny's hand. 

"were going to talk later about this problem. joey don't you dare come to my house," I say and joey put his hand up. 

"gotta, just close your window so I don't hear you." joey said putting a smile on his face. Danny looked supirsed. 

"You have my room?" Danny asked and I just nodded. 

"it weird but yeah," I said and Danny nodded. the bell rang and Danny sat down in his seat. the teacher walked in as more students walked in the class.

"so a girl huh?" I sat at my bed and Danny closed my balcony door and curtains. he saw joey in his old room on his phone laying in his bed. 

"Yeah, I met her at a party and also one of Val's friends. she hangs with her but doesn't like her. she wants to leave val and hang with our group but she hasn't got the balls to do it. she has no other friends and I was hoping if you can be friends with her. you are the only girl in the group." Danny said and he laid down on my bed. 

"what her name?" I asked and looked at Danny. Danny sighed and he got up combng his hair back with his hand. 

"Roxanne, you might have heard of her," Danny said and he pulled pout his phone. he was pulling a picture of her. 

"did you hook up with her? I know she a nerd xo no way she would let you make a move like that." I say and I saw a picture of her. I knew who she was right away, I have a few classes with her. she the cute type of nerd. I know she started wearing contacts so boys been hitting her up. 

"well does 'going slow' say something?" Danny said and blushing. I was just froze on the spot. 

"handjob? blow job? eating out? fingering?" I questioned and Danny cleared his throat. I have s*x with joey so I know what's up. 

"handjob and fingering. we make out a lot. I see her secretly without harry and Greg. she knows where I live so we hang in my house often. my dad and mom are never home most of the time surprisingly." I just shook my head as I laid down next to Danny. 

"I wonder what the boys will think when they find out you're seeing a girl. I wonder what joey will think when he sees me hanging woth a girl for the first time," I say and Danny chuckled. 

"same here, you'll love her and I feel like you guys will have a lot in common." Danny pulled out his phone texting her. I sighed and rolled over to my side. 

"I like her hair, natural redhead?" I asked and Danny nodded. she also has freckles which are cute. Danny definitely likes this girl and I'm happy he finally seeing a girl that's a keeper. 

"she looks like a country girl but she's not a country girl. she into anime and kpop. your into kpop and a little anime. I know you used to watch anime in middle school so you should know old school anime like rox." I turned to look at Danny. 

"nice nickname there dan. rox? how long did it take you to start calling you her that?" I asked and Danny rolled to his side to face me. 

"two weeks. we been seeing each other for three weeks so after you and joey met. sorry I had to keep her a secret from you too until now." Danny said and he put my hair back behind my ear. 

"as least you got her trust, let see what she'll think of me after I met her," I say and Danny pulled me close to his chest. 

"you become friends for sure," Danny said in a low voice. I closed my eyes. I wonder what val and Danny actually talked about but I'll try not to force it from Danny. 

(joey's perspective) 

the curtains were closed and I can see what they're doing. harry and Greg told me that Danny might be seeing a girl in secret so he's telling Jen first since that his best friend. I'm still worried about what there doing though. jut then I got a call from my phone on the nightstand. I got up from my bed to see the name, Racheal. I forgot I still had their numbers on my phone. I should remove their nimbers after this call. what does she want now? I went to grab my phone and answer the call. 

"Hello? rach?" I questioned and got off my bed. I need to close my curtains too as I don't want Jen to see me talking on my phone. 

"hey joey, are you coming to my party tonight? it has been a while since I haven't seen you. I know you have a girlfriend so you can bing her." I sighed and closed my curtains. 

"Nah, did hear about your party so not going. I don't hang out with you for a reason." I sat back at my bed and Racheal groaned on the other line. 

"just come, I want to see you tonight! same for Adam, Levi, ally, and ian. they want to get high with you again." I laid on my bed. 

"I don't want to get high nor get drunk ever again unless I'm feeling it. I rather chill right now," I say and Racheal groaned again.

"okay but at least lets hangout again after school. harry and Greg can join us. did your girlfriend really change you that much?" Racheal sound annoyed. of course, she asks this and Jen did change me a lot. I go on dates now other than parties. parties aren't fun anymore. 

"I love spending time with my girl rach, don't contact me again," I say and hung up the phone. I had enough for her. I right away blocked Rachael's number. that include Adam, Levi, and ian. I went to text Greg and harry in the boy group chat. I know Danny can see it too but he does read nor respond to the text he can't relate too. 

"hey block Racheal, Levi, Adam, ally, and Ian's number. rach called me and she wants us to come to her party or hang out after school. I don't want Jen near them." 

the boys:Greg: "gotcha, I hated them from the beginning anyways." 

the boys: harry: "already did it." I smiled at this and locked my phone. I got a call again and I looked to see Jen's number. I went to answer the call right away. 

"Hey, babe," I said smothinly as I heard the door close in the background. did Danny leave just now?

"hey, who did you close your curtains?" I got off my bed and went to open my curtains to see Jen open her curtains. I gestured her to come to my house. 

"come over, I'll leave my room door open," I said and hung up. I left my curtains open as Jen left her curtains closed. I know she left the room as her lights were turned off. I sat at my desk opening my laptop going to Netflix. I heard my front door open and I went to my bed. I want to ask what Danny and she talked about but it's a private. I just hope it about his ex and maybe a new girl in his life.

"Hey baby, were you bored waiting for me while I was talking to Danny?" Jen walked into my room and closed my door. I lean against my back wall. Jen went to join me sitting next to me. she right away leans against my shoulder. I put my arm around Jen's waist and pulled her closer to me. I gave her the laptop and she went to choose the movie. 

"I was but also I was worried. can you tell me something you guys talked about?" I asked and Jen rolled her eye as she put the laptop in front of us. jen put her legs on my leg. she was rocking her shorts, she probably changed before she got here. 

"well, I can't say other then he has an interest of a girl. I know how she looks like," Jen says and looked at me with a smirk. I was supirsed but Danny needs to move on from his crazy clingy ex.

"we'll meet her soon. by the way, you remember my group of friends you meet at your frist party?" I asked and Jen looked up at me. she started to think. 

"oh yeah, did one of them contact you?" Jen asked and I just kissed her head.

"yeah, but I blocked her number. she has a party tonight and she wants me to come. she said for you to come too but no way I'm never letting you near them. she also pissed off that you changed me." Jen looked confused now. 

"we'll you hate parties and I like going on dates with you. I know you spend money on me when you have a chance," Jen says which is true. I pay for every meal we eat out plus the things she wants to buy. Jen started to learn how to cook from her mom so I been eating a home-cooked meal from Jen. she a pretty good cook. 

"I like dates better to be honest. I like one on one time with you. me, harry, and Greg didn't really like them anyway." I say and Jen looked back at the movie. 

"I'm supirsed you had there number still on your phone," Jen says and I sighed. 

"same here, I forgot I had there number on my phone but now there blocked forever. I even block them if they changed numbers." I laid my chin on Jen's head. 

"did any of them are still in school?" Jen asked and I just scoffed. 

"Adam and Levi dropped out at the beginning of the senior year. not sure about Rachel, ally, and ian. they always hated school." Jen nodded with her eye still on the movie. 

"they have vibes of dropouts," Jen said and I looked at Jen confused. I get their party people but I mean they do have 'I don't care' vibe to everything. that includes school too. 

"let just say they have bad vibes, now instead of a movie, I kinda want to do something else." I put a smirk on my face and Jen just looked at me. she knows as she smiles and looks down on her lap. 

"You really are missing the best part but I mean if you want to just do it," Jen says and I right away attacked Jen. I made sure to move the laptop on the ground leaving the movie on.

"Nice hickey Jen," Greg said and Jen rolled her eyes. she turned to her side. she was laying on my lap as we were in the middle of the school field. I brought my big picnic blanket so it was able to fit five people to lay on it. our bags were in my car which was close so I still had a view of it. we had are phone and homework with us. we already did are homework and now just lazily laying down. school ended and we didn't want to go home yet. danny was laying down smiling at his phone. this girl was really something to make Danny smile creepily.  

"Just because we have it good doesn't mean you have to be jealous," I said and Jen slipped my thigh.. "ow! just saying." I chuckled and Greg shook his head. 

"You have good times to Greg but you need to stick to one girl," Jen says and I moved some of her hair of her face. harry then groaned. 

"what up man?" Greg asked and looked at harry. 

"this girl stuck me up for the tenth time, f**k her. I'm not going to bother anymore." harry put his phone on his chest. I just scoffed and combed my hair back. 

"just stuck to that one girl you been seeing, I'm sure she down to f**k right now," Greg said and I started to laugh. I know this one girl too, she not bad. she's not much of a party girl but she loves to drink.

"let me see if she's down." harry said and he went to text on his phone. just then I noticed a girl around the corner of my eye. she looked familiar and then I recognized it was the crazy ex of Danny. val if I remember her name. 

"Danny, watch out, your ex is coming over," I said and Jen looked up to see val close to us now. Danny groaned and put his phone away. he got up standing up ready to confront his ex. 

"she all sudden wants to get him back. I feel like she has other plans in her head," Jen says and she turns to face me by laying on her back. I put my hand on Jen's waist. I can tell she worried about Danny. it cute how much she shows she cares for you. 

"I feel the same but your not alone when it comes to Danny safety. as for us boys have his back when he needs it." harry sad and put his phone away. he looked at Jen and Jen put a smile on his face. 

"that good to hear, let just see what this b***h wants," Jens says and focus on Danny waiting for his ex as she had a smirk on her face. 

"Hey Danny, so now that Jen has a man and you been single for a while...can you see if you can give us a chance again? I swear we can find the spark that we had three tears ago." val attempted to put her hands on Danny's shoulder but Danny pushed her away. 

"I think our spark disappeared and is gone forever. I have someone else now so no we can't get back together. just then I saw a girl with red hair. she looked like your typical nerd since she had glasses and manga in her arms. her hair down with curls, makeup-wise no make up at all. she had a back[ack full of anime pins and kpop pins. she looked confused and val turned to see her. 

"Hey Danny, what going on?" she said and Danny walked past val to her. 

"hey rox, don't mind her. join the other and I'll be right back." Danny put his arm around the girls wasit and he pushed her towards us. "hey guys this is Roxanne my new girlfriend. I was meaning to introduce you guys. be nice to her okay?" Danny said and he kissed Roxanne's head and he walked away to shocked val. he walked past her and val followed him yelling at him. Roxanne looked away shyly. I was shocked and so was Greg plus harry. Jen right away got up and she went to Roxanne. I guess Jen told him to just do it and introduce her to us. 

"Hey, I'm Jeanne and you can call me Jen. this is joey my boyfriend, Harry, and Greg." Roxanne looked up at Jen. 

"nice to meet you guys. sorry to keep this relationship a secret. we recently just started dating." harry looked away and I shook my head. danny is one hell of a guy keeping this a secret. 

"so you been seeing each other for a while and now you guys officially started dating?" Greg questioned and Roxanne nodded. 

"wow, Danny is one hell of a guy to keep this a secret but at the same time, I can see why. he is a shy type of guy too." harry said and Jen sighed. 

"come sit Roxanne, these guys are only teasing since Danny does keep to himself. I know since I'm his childhood friend and best friend." Jen says and Roxanne sat where she was. she put her bag next to her laying her manga on top of her bag. jen sat next to her. 

"he told me about you guys but I was the one who wanted to keep it a secret. I'm not very social and I thought maybe it's time I should meet people especially Danny's friends." Roxanne said and I nodded. 

"We been there before Roxanne, so you like anime?" I said and Roxanne looked supirsed. 

"Yeah, it's my escape to reality and it's more fun to watch than a normal cartoon," Roxanne said blushing.

"you don't have to be scared to share things, we have our own things to help us escape from reality too." harry said harry taking out his phone. 

"Danny told me that you like old school anime, same for me," Jen said and Roxanne smiled. 

"I do like old school anime, name a few to see if I know them," Roxanne said and Greg shook his head. greg also like anime but he hides it. looks like Jen is going to have a new friend. 

(Jen's perspective) 

"so joey and you been having s*x?" Roxanne said shocked. we were in my room and I wanted to get Roxanne to be friends with me. I just nodded and laid on my bed. we were doing homework and we just finished. joey went to hang put woth his boys and Danny to talk about what is going on. 

"it's not bad after the first time. Danny said you guys are taking your time." I put a smirk on my face and Roxanne blushed looking down at her lap.

"it going good, so who that girl after school anyway?" Roxanne looked up at me.

"oh, val? that his crazy ex that he dated for three years. the last year the love went down the drain. I convinced him to break up with her. he's happy he did that and now he has you." I said and Roxanne looked away smiling. 

"crazy ex? "Roxanne said and she looked worried. it must be the word 'crazy' that got to her. oh boy, I have to clear this up. 

"she was clingy and always wanted to be alone with Danny. she won't even let me near him as she is also very jealous type." I said and Roxanne nodded. 

"no wonder the love went down the drain, I like to go slow and learn about my boyfriend. I bet she was the type to move on skip to the main point aka s*x. she never wanted to know what Danny liked and was interested in. go on normal dates and so on." Roxanne said and I nodded. no words can explain val just like that. 

"you know your s**t, Roxanne. I always hated her from the beginning but I grew to get used to her over time. there was never a time I never see her with Danny." Roxanne pulled out her phone to see a text from Danny. she started to read it. I looked at my phone to see joey texted me. 

"Hey baby, were coming over to the house now. we have pizza and wings with us so you don't have to worry about food. Danny texted Roxanne too so she knows." I texted back and Roxanne got up from the ground. 

"there coming over, I need to clean up before I see Danny. I don't want him to see my hands dirty of led." we were working on art homework and we used are fingers to shade. I need to clean my fingers too. 

"Okay." I replied to joey "got it, we'll clean up then," I said and got off my bed. i put my hone in my back jean pocket. roxanne came out of my bathroom and she went to clean are textbooks and homework too. 

"I'll put your stuff on your desk, do you mind if I leave my bag here?" Roxanne asked and looked at me grabbed her history textbook. 

"go ahead, help me clean up the living room after. they bought food. are you vegetarian by any chance? they bought pizza and wings." I said before I entered the bathroom. 

"no, I like my meat." Roxanne looked at me ad smiled while putting the last of her stuff in her bag.i gave Roxanne a smile back.

"good just making sure." I entered the bathroom and washed my hands. here come a night of a lifetime. there probably going to drink too but I'm sure Roxanne knows.
