Chapter sixteen: gamer girl

Babe,” Joey yelled as he entered my house. My dad finally gave him a spare key since we're dating plus he comes to my house often.

“In my room,” I yell from my balcony.i was on my switch playing fortnite. I got hooked as I watch Joey play often at his house.

“What are you doing babe-oh of course. fortnite?” he questions as he made it to my room. My parents were out at work so I was home alone.

“Yup,” I say and Joey sat next to me as I put a bean bag on my balcony where the rain doesn’t hit. He pulled my leg up to his lap and he watched me play. I was getting good at it as Joey bought me a few skins and other things. He didn't have to but he already got the v-bucks.

“Is it me or I regret getting that switch for you. You don't look at me anymore.” joey kissed my head and look down at me.

“You do the same when you play baby,” I say and team rumble just ended. I was doing challenges since I bought the battle pass.

“True But still I’m here now. Put it away, it probably low battery anyways.” Joey Said and he kissed my cheek. I just google as he was right.

“Can you plug it in for me?” I Asked and went back to the home page. Joey rolled his eyes and he grabbed my switch with my earphones. He removed my legs from his lap and walked back to my room.

“Are you hungry babe?” Joey Asked and I got off my bean bag. I was sweating from my legs so I need to get up at one point.

“Not really but-“ I walk in my room for Joey to now be in front of me. He looked annoyed.

“Stop saying that! You need to eat babe.” Joey cupped my cheeks and kissed me gently. I just smiled in the kiss as he was right about that. I say that often when I don’t feel hungry but I’m really I’m hungry.

“Sorry, we can Postmate. I don’t want to go out.” I say and Joey nodded.

“I’ll Order the food. Here order what you want.” Joey pulled out his phone and put post mate. It was his address but we’re neighbors so it doesn’t matter.

“You know I eat baby. I don’t know why you ask me to eat every time.” I Say annoyed. Joey groaned and I’ll tell you this. We may seem like a perfect couple but we do have small arguments once in a while. This is one topic we argue about.

“Babe, I just don’t want you to pass out. You have the perfect body and I know I can’t keep my hands off you but you don't need to keep up with the figure. You need to eat.” I sighed and choice a vegan burger from a vegan restaurant nearby us.

“You put me on a diet so I still don’t know why you're worried about me,” I say giving Joey his paging back. Joey grabbed his phone and looked through the same restaurant I choose from.

“Exactly, you need to eat and I know you well. You don’t often, Even at school.” Joey finished up his order and paid. Now we wait.

“I hate you for knowing that much,” I say I’m a low voice. I put my head o. Joey chest and Joey hugged me by my shoulders.

“I love you, babe.” Joey kisses my head. “Now let's go watch a movie. I hate staying in your room all day. We need some space to move in.” Joey kissed my head one more time and he grabbed my hand. We walked to the door and I grabbed my phone That was charging next to my switch.

“I thought you don't like vegan food,” I say and Joey looked at me confused.

“I don't mind vegan food babe. I want to try out their burgers since you order from them often.” Joey put a smile on his face and he was right about that. I go there often on my own sometimes when Joey is working with my dad in the garage when there’s nothing to eat.

“You love it, it tofu but it flavored well,” I say and Joey opens my room door for me. I walked out first and Joey was right behind me closing my room door.

“I hate tofu for a reason so I’ll take your word on that.” Joey chuckled and we walked down the stairs. “You know gaming can affect your grades right?” Joey Said and we made it to the bottom of the stairs. I rolled my eyes.

“I know that much baby. I still have A’s in my classes. How about you?” I Questioned looking at Joey who looked away covering his mouth. He had worse grades than me but he managed with B’s and some B-. Some A’s which I’m impressed about.

“Shut up, at least I’m fit 24/7,” Joey Said and we walked to the icing room. I sat down as Joey Let go of my hand and grabbed the remote from The coffee table.

“I don’t gain weight and you know that,” I say laying in the corner of the couch.

“I’ll get water for us. Pick a movie for me, babe.” Joey gave me the remote and I just grabbed it as I open Netflix. I went to action movies right away.

“Do you want to watch a John wick movie?” I Asked and Joey pop he heads from the fridge door.

“If there is one. Just put a horror movie.” Joey said and pulled two water bottles from the fridge. He put one under his armpit and closed the fridge door.

“I don't want to wanna watch a horror movie! We always watch one when you're here,” I whine and joey started to laugh as he walks back to the living to join me.

“I’m right here to protect you, babe.” Joey put the water bottles down and he laid over me hovering over me, he leans in and kissed me gently.

“I’ll pick the movie now since your being a baby.” joey grabbed the remote from me and he sat at my legs as he put it on his lap.

“I am not!” I Yelled and Joey chuckled and put his hands on my legs. I relaxed to his touch as laid my pulled out my phone.

“I’m going to do this movie. Been a while.” Joey Said and put the remote back in the coffee table. He put spy kids and I just raised my eyebrows.

“You watched this as a kid?” I Questioned and Joey looked at me with a ‘really’ face.”

“Of course, who did have a childhood.” Joey got up putting my leg on the couch and he crawled to Me.

“What are you doing baby?” I Asked and Joey put a smirk on his face and he somehow flipped us around. I was now laying in his chest as I was between his legs. He put his hand in my back and rubbed it.

“Much better. Now let enjoy this movie.” Joey kissed my head as I lay my head on his chest.

“You really want things your way sometimes. The food might be here soon.” I say and Joey nodded.

“You can grab it since you're on top beside I put a side note saying to deliver it to your house. Call for me if he hits on you.” Joey Said and I can feel the vibration from his chest. I sighed and closed my eyes.

“What if I fall asleep?” I Asked and Joey gave it some thought while watching the movie.

“I’ll get it.” I sighed again.

“Okay.” I relaxed and watched a movie.

Not even 10 minutes later the food came. Joey said he be the one to get it if I fell asleep but he ended up falling asleep. He was snoring away and I got off his chest and removed his hand from my back. He groaned as I removed it but he relaxed again and I walked away slowly. I should get a blanket for him after I get the food. I grabbed my phone and walked to the door where the doorbell rang again.

“I’m here,” I yell and I open the door slowly to soo a teenager male around my age or maybe older.

“Hello, here is your meal,” he said with a smile. He had a bag of food on him as he handed it to me. I just grabbed the food and I saw him looking at me up and down. I was wearing shorts and a shirt. Of course, he would check me put while I’m wearing this.

“Thank you,” I say and he nodded.

“Have a great day,” he said and started to walk away slowly. I rolled my eyes seeing what he intended to do. I just closed the door and locked it. I walked to the kitchen and put the bag of food on the kitchen counter. I open it and took out my burger. I saw joey got a different burger then me, he added some extra ingredients.

“Babe?” joey questioned and he got up from the couch.

“Foods here.” I decided to bring the food over to joey. I had my burger in hand and joey’s burger in the bag. There were napkins inside the bag.

“The food here? Did it come just now? wait was it a guy or-” I cut joey of as he started to raid me woth questions. I hate how he thinks he’ll lose me so easily.

“It was a guy and yes he checked me out but I didn’t bouge baby,” I said and sat next to joey. Joey sighed and he went to grab his burger from the bag.

“You should have woke me up, babe,” Joey said as I open my box of burger.

“How funny is it that you told me you’ll get it if I fell asleep. You fell asleep.” I said and joey tipped the driver on his account on his phone. He gave him a 20 percent tip as he does that often even if they're rude.

“Shut up babe,” Joey said and he put his phone down. We continued to watch the movie and eat.

(joey’s perspective)

“How cute, you don’t do that,” Jen says as we were on our 2nd movie. We were watching a romantic since I was in the mood and Jen don’t care what movie we watch. As long as we spend time together. We’re not together 24/7 as much as before since I work for her dad and she’s always in her room doing her own thing which I don’t mind. She trying to get a scholarship at the moment which reminds me I should try to get one myself.

“It cute to you babe and there’s no way I’d do that.” I say and Jen looked up at me with a ‘really’ face. I just chuckled and kissed her head. She was still laying on top of me and I like it. One thing for sure its been a while since we had s*x.

“Maybe You're not as romantic as I thought,” Jen Said and focused on the movie. I rolled my eyes.

“I’m romantic in my own way babe. You know that.” I Said and Jen shook her head. She knows what I mean. I do show her affection but I prefer to show her affection that way.

“Maybe I might like a simple gesture like that. you don’t have to buy me expensive gifts.” Jen got more comfortable on my chest.

“Maybe I like buying you expensive gifts. You should tell that to your dad, he buys you expensive things on a daily or at least asks.” I Said which is the truth. Jen nodded and sighed.

“He's my dad, he’s different.” Jen looked back up at me. I just lean in making our foreheads touch. We started doing this as a sign of affection and so far I like it.

“True.” I kissed Jen nose and Jen giggled. I like making her giggle. It’s one of my favorite things to do with Jen. I also love the way she leans on me and when she grabbed my arm.

“So what should we do now? I don't wanna keep watch movies, It got boring,” Jen says and I sighed.

“Want to hang woth the gang?” I asked and pulled out my phone. I texted the boys if they were busy.

“Sure.” Jen looked back at the movie. I chuckled and leaned down to her neck and kissed it.

“Want to have a little fun while I wait for a reply?” I asked putting on a smirk on my face. Jen rolled her eyes. I look down at Jen with a smile on her face. She wants it to do it for sure.

“Tonight baby, my parents are going to be home by midnight,” Jen says. I raised my eyebrows but nodded.

“Alright then, looks like I have to wait,” I said and look back my phone to see Harry replied.

“Down to go to the game arcades? It ben a while.” I raised my eyebrows and replied.

“We’ll meet in an hour. I and Jen will be there, just meet us there.” I locked my phone and looked at Jen who was still focused on the movie.

“They're going to a gaming arcade. Do you want to go?” I asked and Jen shook her head. She got up from my chest and she sat up stretching her back.

“There no other choice I have. You probably texted them saying I’m coming anyway,” Jen says and she was right about that. I never can go without her anywhere.

“We have an hour to get ready. Want to do me a quick flavor?” I pointed to my basketball shorts which were obvious. Jen rolled her eyes. She rubbed her hand agian my shorts and I took in my breath as I close my eyes.

“If my dad comes in while I do this, you're the blame,” Jen says and I just chuckled.

We met up with the boys and Jen was holding my arm. I had my hand in my jean pockets. Danny noticed my first and harry and Greg were the next to notice us outside the game arcade which was pretty big.

“Hey Joey, you look a little messy there,” Greg says ad I knew he was talking about my hair not combed back. I have been doing this for a while now as I don't comb my hair back often anymore. I only do it when I go to school. I want to make sure I look good at school.

“Lazy day you know,” I say and Jen shook her head. All the boys looked at each other as we made it to them.

“I hope it was worth beforehand. You could have waited till. after we hang out.” Danny said and I sighed.

“Let go, guys, it been a while since I been here.” I saw and they all nodded. We walked into the game arcade which was pretty crowded.

“Of course it had to be crowded. It’s a Saturday.” Harry said and put his phone away in his back pocket of his jeans. Jen moved closer to me as people moved past her.

“What do you expect, it called a weekend for a reason,” Jen says and we continued to walk into the game arcade even deeper. We walked to the basketball nets and we saw kids there already trying to shot and miss. Jen put a smile as she saw this.

“Let's see if there any other games around here,” I say and they all looked around. I saw one of those ball rolling ones and looks like one were being unused.

“Let's go get tickets for prizes. I’m sure Joey will get a lot of tickets for Jen as she gets spoiled enough as it is.” Greg said and we walked to games. Harry went to a nearby token machine and he put five dollars in it.

“Looks like we're going our way then,” I say and looking at Jen. Jen pulled me a different direction. All the boys continued to do their thing and we continued to walk to another token machine and I put five dollars in there. Jen grabbed the tokens and put it in the pocket of her hoodie.

“So what game first?” Jen Asked and I looked around to see Waco a mole was not being used. You can see you earn tickets by your score.

“I got this babe,” I say and pulled her with me as her hand was in her hoodie pocket as she tries not to let the tokens drop from it including her phone.

“I hope you have good aiming,” Jen says and I just rolled my eyes. I have to prove her wrong.

“Don't worry babe, I got this,” I said and we walked to the wack a mole. I saw it needed 4 tokens and Jen handed me four tokens from her hoodie pocket. I put it in as Jen watch the game start. I grabbed the hammer made for the game as it starts.

“Be gentle baby,” Jen said and I just nodded. Here I go.

We walked to the ticket booth as I and Jen got a lot of tickets of course because of me. Jen was holding the ticket card that you have to have so the workers can just scan it. She was happy 50 dollar worth spend, I had money so I don't have to worry about anything.

“We’ll see how that goes,” I say and we saw Danny walking up from behind us. He had a lot of tickets too as I saw is the ticket in his hand.

“what are you going to get?” Danny asked and Jen looked behind us as we stood behind a crowd of people and kids talking to each other.

“Not sure but I want to get something to annoy joe with,” Jen says with a smirk on her face. I sighed in frustration. Danny started to laugh.

“Oh, I’ll help you chose your prize,” Danny said jokingly and I looked at Danny pissed off. He rolled his eyes and started to talk to Jen as they look at the prizes on the wall.

“Hey Joey, how much you got?” Harry came up from behind me and Greg was right behind him on his phone. He was texting some girl for sure as he was smiling.

“Over 200 why?” I said and put a smirk on my face. Harry and Greg looked shocked.

“How much you spend?” Greg asked putting his phone away in his jean pocket.

“50, I have plenty of money,” I say and Greg scoffed. Harry nodded as he looked at how much tickets he got.

“You are richer than me! How is that possible?” Harry questioned and I just chaulked.

“My parents give me money when I need it and I work for Jen's dad so I earn money form him too. It’s not bad. You work for him too guys. How d you spend your money?” I asked and they work woth me but not the same hours as they live farther than me. I live next to Jen so it’s convenient.

“Are parent don't gave us money plus I’m still paying for my car,” Greg says and he looked around as Danny and Jen walked up to the counter. The worker scans Jen's ticket card and asks what she wants. Danny was helping her. I just let him do what he does since there friends anyways.

“my parents are paying for my car so I have nothing to worry about,” Harry says and he had a smirk on his face. I look back at Jen who got a cat backpack and a pack of water guns. She got them, oh god.

“Do they complain about you not paying for your car?” I asked and Harry looked away and Greg walked away with harry's ticket. Jen was walking back to me and Danny stayed there getting his own prize.

“They do but now it too late as they are almost done paying my car,” Harry said and Jen hugged me woth her bags of prizes. I grabbed it from her hand and put my arms around her shoulders.

“What did you get Jen?” Harry asked and looked at Jen.

“A cat bag and water guns,” Jen says with a smile. Harry chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

“Of course. Good luck not killing her joey.” Harry saw Greg picking his prize.

“I’ll try.” I sighed and looked at Jen looking through her phone. She noticed me looking at her.

“What?” Jen questioned and I just put a smile on my face.

“Nothing, just think his I will try to kill you. Also, are we still down for tonight?” I asked and Jen shook her head. She tiptoes to kiss my cheek.

“Of course, a promise os a promise,” she says and I just chuckled. I kissed her head and laid my chin on top of her head.

“Can't wait,” I say in low vice, Harry was still here and on his phone. Jen went back to her phone. Can't wait till I get back home.

(Jen's perspective)

I woke to joey's bare chest. I groaned and I went to grab my phone from the nightstand to see it’s 6:30 pm. I then realized we had s*x earlier and we fell asleep of course. I managed to get out of joey strong grip and walked to the bathroom naked. I needed a shower so I decided to take a shower. I had my phone ready as I put music to play. Since I was already naked I just walked in and started to shower. Not even five minutes later I felt someone arm around my waist. I giggled and felt a kiss on my neck.

“You should have woke me up,” Joey said and he was now talking in the water as I raised all the shampoo off my hair completely. I shook my head and started to put conditioner in my hair.

“You look, peaceful baby, I hate to wake you up,” I say and Joey started to shampoo his hair.

“I should be saying that to you,” Joey Said and looked at me. His hair wasn’t a long as mine so he started to wash it off his hair right away.

“Shut up Joe.” I rolled my eyes and we continued to shower together.

An hour later we walk out the shower and let me say that Joey is nonstop when it comes to s*x. We were clean and just as I was about to walk out the shower Joey stopped me and pin me against the wall. I hate him for that but he good at what he does for a reason.

“That was needed,” Joey says shirtless and only in his underwear. I was in my sport shorts and a tank top.

“Please no, I’m sore as I am,” I said and Joey chuckled as we made it back to the balcony. It was sunset so it was beautiful.

“So want to play fortnite together? I’ll go home and I’ll invite to a game.” Joey says putting on his jeans.

“I thought you hate me playing games?” I Questioned and Joey scoffed. I knew something was up.

“Well, around to say that you look hot playing on your switch. It turns me on a bit plus you're getting good. I want to test your skills.” Joey put on his shirt.

“Okay big boy, I see you. Okay just send me the invite and I’ll be ready to prove you wrong.” I say removing my switch from its charger. Joey hugged me by my shoulders and kissed me softly.

“I will be ready to be impressed,” Joey Said and he kissed my head on more time before he walked out of my room. I sighed and I crossed my legs on my bed. I pulled out my headphones I used for fortnite and waited for Joey. Ten minutes later I join in a game with Joey.

“Hey baby,” I said and laid on my bed. I had my curtains closed as I don't want to joey to see what I’m doing plus the sun was setting so it wasn't worth being open.

“Hey babe, let go.” we both ready up and I put the switch on my stomach as the match load. “Babe? Are you still there?” Joey said and I quickly spoke up.

“I’m here, just waiting for the game to start,” I said and Joey chuckled.

“You should have changed your skin, you have skins right?” Joey said and the skin I was using was a default skin. I was trolling harry in another game that’s why I have this skin. I picked up the switch as the bus showed up.

“I was trolling Harry saying I have no skins and he gifted me one. He said I can keep it but I paid him back either way.” I said and joey marks a location on the map.

“Wow, do you do that to Greg too?” Joey asked and I shook my head.

“Once but he didn't fall for it. He knows we both have money,” I say and joey started to laugh. I giggled as well as I remember me playing with Greg. he carried me twice as we played three games. I was starting to get frustrated.

“Of course he didn't fall for it, babe, he smarter and understanding then dumbass harry. Danny knows you too well so no way you tried to troll him huh?” Joey questioned and he was right but he doesn't play games. He not a gamer like us.

“One he doesn’t like to play games. I don't annoy him because we both know each other too well,” I say and I can tell Joey nodded for sure.

“I bet, I do the same with Harry and Greg.we annoy each other for a reason.” I jumped as Joey jumped off the bus. Just to let you know Joey plays on ps4. The controls are the same with the switch but two buttons are different. The jump and select are opposite.

“If you don’t get a gun then call for me.” Joey Said and I rolled my eyes. I’m also playing with ps4 players too so this is going to be difficult to get a kill. I mean I get two kills max solo but still It going to be difficult.

“Okay.” I release my glider and I managed to get a house to myself or at least that what I thought. I heard someone else’s footsteps from downstairs and I managed to grab a shotgun. I looked in the other room grabbing a flint gun. Don’t like it but any gun works. I managed to kill him as Joey walked in my house dropping a small shield and big shield.

“Have guns?” joey asked and threw an AR on the ground.

“I have guns but thanks for the AR. want a flint gun?” I asked back and Joey chuckled on the other line.

“I like that. I’ll help you find another good gun.” joey and I started to walk off to a direction. “Hey, are you free this Monday after school? Your dad told me that you're going somewhere with him.” Joey said and I was surprised. Of course, dad shares anything with joey.

“A car show but I don’t want to go unless you want to come with me?” I said and it was silent on the other line. Joey was thinking hard.

“I don’t mind. It a good break from looking at my tesla all day.” I just scoffed to this. I can see joey taking good care of it but he tried of looking at it. He loves his Tesla too much.

“Sure but it has to be after school. My dad was planning to pick me up and you can ride along. I’ll have to tell my dad and he most likely agrees of course.” I say and Joey nodded again. He doesn't that often.

“I’ll talk to your dad personly babe, he's my boss after all,” says with confidence. Sighed as he was right about that part.

“Okay.” we made it to another area and there I saw people in the distance.

“Ready babe?” joey asked and I rolled my eyes.

“Just be ready to pick me up if possible.” i say and we continted to play on.
