Chapter seventeen: cars and leia?

“Baby,” I said and walked in joey room as he was doing push-ups shirtless and in basketball shorts. I was shocked and but I mean joey always need to stay in shape. I just walked in closing the door while Joey was listening to music with his phone on the ground. I sat on his bed laying down on it. I face away from him and went on my phone. I went to my text to see Danny texted me.

Danny: “you going to the car show?” I replied hearing the panting stop. I guess Joey was done doing his work out. I heard him get up from the ground.

“I am with joey. He just got done working out and probably will take a shower. We still have an hour left before we plan to leave.” I sent it and I felt a kiss on my cheek.

“Be out ten minutes. We can eat beforehand as there nothing to eat other then hotdogs they sell.” Joey said and quickly walked Into his bathroom. I just sighed and Danny texted back.

“Try not to take long. Eat before had. They sell food which I don't think you can’t trust for s**t. Only beer is the only good thing they're selling.” of course just beer is good. Joey and Danny can’t get one as they are underage. I heard the shower start and I replied back.

“I know that much.” I locked my phone and lay on my back to face the ceiling.

“Hey, babe!” Joey yelled and I got quickly. Joey sounded like he was in pain.

“Yes, baby?” I got off his bed and walked to the bathroom door. I open the door to see it’s steamy and the shower curtain slightly open.

“I got shampoo in my eyes. Can you wipe it off?” Joey said as I just froze. “Babe!” Joey healed with both eyes closed and I shook my head. Of course, he doesn’t have a towel with him. I grabbed a small bath towel and walked up to Joey. I wipe my eye while trying not to look down. I saw him naked but I just being respectful either way.

“How does this happen?” I asked and joey opens his eyes. I back up and joey raised off the shampoo of his hair. I just put the small bath towel down on the bathroom counter. I was about to walk out of the bathroom when Joey called out my name.

“Bring me my clothes, you can choose my outfit as I chose your outfit often.” joey peaked form the curtain and had a smirk on his face. I just rolled my eyes putting my hand up as I close the bathroom door. I had nothing to do anyway so might as well. I went to his closet and looked at his clothes. It was mainly black which was no surprise. I looked through his clothes and just picked out a normal pair of jeans. He wears normal jeans from time to time. It’s time for a change for today and I’m sure he doesn't want his ‘black’ jeans dirty from all the dust since the car show is at a desert. I was going for his shirt which was 50 percent black and white, Barley any colors. I’ll let him choose his shirt since he’s very picky about his shirt. I grabbed one underwear and socks. I let him choose his shoes as he has a shoe collection like any normal shoe lover.

“Baby your clothes are on your bed. I’ll call in the restaurant near the car show for a reservation,” I yell for joey to hear. I put his clothes on his bed. He knows I know he has to pick his shirt and shoes. I grabbed my phone and went to sit at his desk. I went to search for a restaurant near the desert. Joey showers don’t take long so i was done making a reservation for us. Just then Joey came up from behind me. He put his hair towel on his desk.

“We're going to a desert right?” joey asked putting on lotion.

“Yeah, just wear normal jeans,” I said back focused on my video. It took joey another five minutes to get dress as he put a jacket over his shirt. It was going to be cold by tonight so joey bought one just in case. I was in shorts since it was going to be hot during the day. I was in a crop top tank top. My hair was down and wavy. I took a shower beforehand myself.

“Okay, let go, babe. You direct me the restaurant though okay?” Joey said and tapped my arm. He had his car keys and wallet in his hands.

“Okay, Danny and dad will meet up with us there at the car show,” I said getting up. Joey grabbed my hand as I got up. Joey combed his hair back which was down. “Are you going to go to the car sow woth lose hair?” I asked. Most l=time he tries to make himself look good.

“I have hair gel in my car in the case besides were taking a high way and my Tesla is auto plot remember?” Joey said looking at me as we reached his room door and he opened it letting me walk out first.

“You also must have your cologne too in there too?” I asked. I noticed Joey put it on before we go into school. I like the smell, to be honest.

“It is an hour drive,” I say and we walked down the stairs. Joey pulled out his phone and he looked at the time. Just then my joey’s mom says us and she handed joey some money.

“Don’t spend too much money joe.” Joey's mom said and joey rolled his eyes. I saw Joey's mom gave him five hundred. I forgot they sell parts too there at the car show.

“Are you planning to fix my car? Dad was the one fixing on my car,” I said and joey scoffed. He opens the front door and I walked out the front door first.

“It 50/50 between us. He teaching me by fixing your car.” Joey said and he closed the front door.

“No wonder it’s so smooth when I drive. Don't spend a lot of money on expensive parts,” I say knowing a few things about cars. Joey nodded as we made it to his car. He walked to the passenger seat. He opens the passenger door and I entered in.

“I’ll buy small parts, your car is good and fix as it is but I need to fix your wheels as they are bumpy.” I started to think as joey close the door. I put my seat belt on and I knew what part he was thinking off. Joey entered his car and he put on his seat belt right away.

“Okay, does my dad know?” I asked and Joey nodded. He started his car as he went to get his hair gel from the middle holder. He also got hairspray too.

“Of course he knows. I asked him and he will teach me when I work with him. He gave me money to so I can buy four on a good deal if I find one.” Joey put it on the back seat. He was ready to do his hair.

“Can I be there? I want to see you work,” I say and joey started to back up from his driveway. Joey put a smile on his face.

“you're always in your room so of course, you can see. You need a time out of your room.” Joey says and he started to drive down the road.

“I have to study for my future college and finals for school,” I say and joey rolled his eyes. Joey is smart himself so he should understand.

“We're going to the same college babe, I know the stress. You need to rest and not always think about school. Just chill babe.” Joey says focused on the road.

“I’m not stressed joe, just need to stay focused. I don't have good memory unlike you. I have to study 24/7 to remember things.” I say which is true. Joey is smart like I said but has a good memory.

“That also why you're good at notes,” Joey said and that was the truth. I have good handwriting for a reason. I nodded and Joey sighed turning to the main road.

“Just be ready when your ride is going to be more smooth than usual after I get your car fix a bit more,” Joey says and looks at me for a quick second before looking back at the road. I shook my head knowing he was right about that. I can't wait to drive my car after two months of not driving and joey always picking me up. There a reason why I rarely drove my car.

“Nice ride bro.” a guy said as we parked next to my dad car. We had VIP parking near the front with cops watching their car. We drove for an hour getting gas on the way since joey’s tank was low. We need to be prepared to drive home. Also, we got snacks on the drive back too.

“Are you showing your car? You should park there.” another guy said point an open spot near his car which I assume. he was near joey’s driver side as we got out of the car. Joey locked his car as a cop showed up from behind the guy. He was ready in case he tried something.

“Nah bro, just here with my girl and seeing cars myself,” Joey says and I walked to joey. Joy grabbed my hand tightly interwinding are fingers.

“That's a nice car though, just saying.” the guy said as he noticed the cop. He walked away and Joey nodded at the cop. The cop nodded back and there I saw my dad and Danny at the front sighing their names. My dad was hosting the showing or at least half the show.

“Hey Dan, Mr. Smith,” Joey yelled and Danny and my dad noticed us. The cop was now watching the cars.

“Hey honey, hey Joe. Glad you made it. You have money for buying the part you need.” my dad asked and Joey nodded. We walked up to them and I saw my me and joey’s name on there as VIP.

“Come here, I know a good dealer. Danny, honey you guys can walk around as we talk to him. I don't think you guys should be there especially you, honey.” my dad says and joey looks down at me. He had the ‘i knew this would happen’ face.

“Alright dad, good luck Joe.” I kissed joey’s cheek real quick and joey let go of my hand.

“Okay, make sure you stay close to dan.” joey kissed my head back and I just walked to Danny who was waiting for me. My dad and Joey walked a different direction and they started to talk to each other.

“Working during a show too huh? But they are fixing your car. I hope all the work was worth it.” Danny said as they disappear from our view.

“Joey love cars and shoes. Just let him be.” I said and we started to walk the other way.

“Let see my future car that maybe your dad can work on when I buy it,” Danny said and I just scoffed.

“Just work for my dad just like Harry, Greg, and joey,” I say and Danny looked surprised. He started to think. he was thinking hard. I heard whistles as we got near the cars that people were showing off. Oh god, this again. If joey was here he would start yelling right away.

“I’ll think about it,” Danny said and we looked at the cars. So far they look nice. I wonder which one Danny wants and if joey would buy a car like this.

(joey’s perspective)

“Thank you,” I said to Jen's dad as I had the bag of parts I need in my hands. I was walking to my car with my car keys in my other hand.

“I’ll see you tomorrow so we can put it in Jen's car.” Jen's dad says walking away. He waved to me as he disappeared away from my view. I waved back and made it to my car. The cop saw me and smiled. I smiled back and open the back seat. I put the bag of parts in the back seat and close the door. I locked my car and grabbed my phone. I called Jen planning to meet up with her. I hope Danny is protecting her well.

“Hello, baby?” Jen answered and I looked around at the same time.

“Hey, babe, where are you at? Just got done buying the part and putting it in my car,” I said and I walked towards the cars. There were some nice cars. I kind of want to rev the engines to some of these cars.

“I’m here, I can see you,” Jen says as I stop walking. I looked around and saw Jen waving as Danny was looking at a black Lamborghini. Of course, Danny would be looking at a Lamborghini.

“On my way,” I say hanging up a Jen went to talk to Danny. I started to walk to Jen and then I felt arm grab my arm lightly. I looked to see once again which I didn't expect, Leia. I rolled my eyes to get my arm out of her grip. Leia looked pissed the moment I did this.

“You're here alone? I didn’t know you were into cars.” Leia said and she crossed her arms across her chest.

“I’m just here cause of my girlfriend's dad. He co-hosts the show so I got in for free,” I said and I saw Jen walking to me. Of course, she would notice and she knows how Leia looks like.

“So you got a free be? Dam, I wish we had a group with you.” the guy said right behind her. He put his hand around Leia's waist. Leia put a smug look on her face as if I’ll get jealous.

“Joe? What wrong?” Jen questioned and she grabbed my hand gently. I just put a smile on my face and I lean down to kiss Jen head. She giggled and l felt Leia tense up. The guy looked at Jen with hungry eyes.

“Got to go, Leia, see you around,” I say and waved to Leia. I pulled Jen with me back to Danny who shook his head. Leia cleared his throat and walked up beside me.

“Can we hang out with you? Were bored as she referred to her and the boy still eyeing Jen.

“I mean you can but you need to keep your distance,” I say and Jen just rolled her eyes. She walked in front of me and I had my hand on he waist as we made it back to Danny talking to the guy that owned the Lamborghini.

“Yeah ten years to get this baby. Worth it.” the guy says and noticed us.”

“One day man, I’ll get one too.” said and he waved to the guy.

“One day bro.” the guy waved back and we walked away from the Lamborgini.

“So how long have you guys been together?” the guys asked and Jen walked up to Danny. I had my finger still linked to Jen's pinky.

“A month and almost two weeks,” I say and Jen was just talking to Danny. Leia looks at Jen' pissed off. She looked at our hands still slightly touching. There's no way I’m not let go of contact with Jen with Leia and this guy around. I don't trust Jen and Leia being alone.

“Wow, your clingy bro. She not going anywhere.” the guy said and Danny scoffed as he was right. I'm being clingy at the moment for a reason.

“I’m not clingy. I’m just protecting her.” I say walking closer to Jen. the guy nodded, Leia then spoke up and man she sounded rude.

“You're protecting her from nothing. It a car show, It all about cars not getting a date.” Leia said and she looking at Jen still. Jen was talking to Danny still about cars they were looking at earlier.

“Well I’m her man and she’s my girl. I protect even if not necessary either way.” I say and the guy nodded. We stopped at a car that Danny took interest in.

“Were always together no matter what, there no way were separating from each other,” Jen says and she looked at Leia. that part is also true. There’s never a day where we're not far from each other. Danny started to talk to the guy that owns the car.

“You're not only clingy guy, your super overprotective too.” the guy said and Leia leans against him. Jen walked up to me and hugged me closing her eyes. I hug her back on her shoulders. I love it when she relaxes to my touch, She mines for a reason.

“Can we not talk about this? Look, baby, this is a Telsa like yours.” Jen said and she looked up at me with her innocent eyes. Dam I don't see that often anymore, Jen has dirty eyes as she got used to our s*x life.

“Oh really?” I looked at the car Danny took interest in. Leia rolled her eyes as the subject changed. The guy shrugged it off. I looked at the guy's car as Danny was talking to him about how he got it. “It red though. Not my favorite color,” I say and the guy looked at me.

“Oh, You have one too? Why don't you show it off?” the guy that owns the Tesla said looking at me. I just dug in my pockets to reach for my car keys. I showed the guy and he looked surprised.

“Rich dad?” he questioned and Danny looked at me as he was wanting to know too. I rolled my eyes.

“It’s his uncle, he gave it to him for his 18th birthday,” Jen said for me. I put my car keys back in my pocket.

“My uncle owns a shop and he got the Tesla to paint and the guy who hired him got a Lamborghini at the same time. He didn’t want the car anymore and since my uncle had money he bought it from him half price. He got lucky.” I said and the guy who owns the Tesla plus Danny looked shocked.

“Lucky you, you have a family full of successful people.” the guy lean against his Tesla. Leia and her man walked away as it was boring and she didn’t want to be around me and Jen.

“Same for you Jen. your dad owns a company that fixes cars and trade cars. I'm sure Joey and two of my other friends work there too.” Danny said and the guy looked impressed.

“Both families are rich, let me guess your dad fix up a car for you?” The guy Asked and looked at Jen.jen just rolled her eyes.

“Yes he did and I’m not picky about my cars since I’m not a car person like my best friend and boyfriend here,” Jen says and looks around as more People took pictures of the guy's car.

“I see, you got a good one. Looks like he treats you good.” The guy winked at me as he knows what I mean. I just chuckled and Danny nodded with a smirk on his face.

“So where’s your car?” The guys closing his car door. Here we go.

“Let go ride out there one day. I’ll teach you how to drift.” the guy who owns the Tesla said and got in his car. We checked each others car and also talked about Jen's car which he was happy to help with. He knew the best parts to make her ride not fast but smooth.

“Okay bill, just text me when you're not busy. I say and Jen got in my car. Danny also goes in my car. We ere tired and decided to head to a beach.

“Gotcha.” bill yelled and close the windows of his tinted windows. He started his car as I got in my own car. Jen was talking to Danny.

“Please be careful, I don't want any of you guys to crash and rush to the hospital,” Jen says and she looked at Danny and then I concentered. Of course, Jen would be worried. She’s still the caring girl that I know.

“We both know how to drive Jen. I'm sure we can drift cars.” Danny said laying back in the very back seat. I hate it when people do that but I’ll teach him a lesson.

“Still drifting is different dan,” I say and turn on my car. Bill back up from the parking spot next to us and he waved to me before he drove off. I just waved back.

“Plus you need to learn to control, that what hard about drifting,” Jen says and I started up and stopped all sudden. Danny wasn’t using the seat belt of course.

“f**k!” Danny yelled and he fell on the ground. I just started to laugh as Jen looked at me confused. Danny rubbed his head and he looked at me pissed off. “You're a d**k joey, you knew I had no seat belt,” Danny said and he got up back on the seat. He didn't put up his legs as he put his seat belt. I started to back up again as I started to calm down. Jen rolled his eyes and slap my arm lightly.

“Also that I don't like people putting their feet on my seats. It’s white so the dirt is visible and I can’t always clean my car. “I say and Jen giggled as Danny rolled his eyes this time.

“Like I knew the rules of your ‘car’,” Danny said and Jen finally spoke up.

“I told you the rules dan, plus this isn't the first time you rode in joeys car.” Jen says and she pulled out her phone. She was right about that part. I picked up Danny a few times and he was in my car because of that.

“Still, can I at least get comfortable?” I drove off the desert. Jen dad already left so were the last to leave. The show was getting more crowded. It was time we leave.

“Just remove your shoes and I’ll open the windows so the foot smell can go away,” I said and open the driver's seat and back seat windows open half way. I open jens window slightly open as she doesn't like her hair all over her face. I know that much about her, she can put it up if she doesn't like it. Danny shrugged and he did what I said putting his feet on the seat. It still pisses me off but at least his dirty shoes aren’t on my seats.
