DEAR DIARY,
Juniper's been busy doing volunteer work with her mother. I've picked up every shift I could get my hands on at the store. So we didn't get a chance to videochat until today. We had so much to catch up on we talked for nearly two hours.
“The house is so quiet without Candy,” I explained. Since Lucas wasn't home at the time, I was able to tell Juniper, “I feel terrible for breaking up my brother's relationship. I've never seen him so sad. He obviously loves Candy, and misses her. I mean, I sort of miss her too sometimes—like when Lucas and I fend for ourselves at dinner.
