Chapter 1: She is dead?

721 Words
Faced with an unusually frightening question, Raven helplessly scrutinized the black-clad man before him. The man inquired, no, he pled "surely, you will protect her.....them. right?" Raven powerlessly, however, boastfully replied."You can depend on me, I will definitely make things right." However, it was apparent that Raven had made this promise carelessly, without fully comprehending the gravity of the situation. After all, he was only a seven-year-old child. The young boy had a delicate and fragile appearance, with a small and slender build that makes him look almost ethereal. His fair skin is almost porcelain-like and seems to glow with a soft translucence in the light. His features are delicate and finely chiseled, with a small nose, full lips, and large, round eyes that are a bright and sparkling color. He has a cherubic face that exudes innocence and purity, giving him a very cute and endearing appearance. Despite his fragility, his eyes were filled with vitality and shrewdness. Although the black-clad man's expression remained hidden, his relief was palpable upon hearing those words. Suddenly, a knocking sound emanated from the door, and the young boy turned to face it. A faint sliver of light leaked through the crack beneath the door, casting the shadow of a person on the floor outside. As Raven glanced back at the black-clad man, he realized the room was now empty. The space was vast, with towering walls disappearing into a shadowy ceiling. Only a few dim lights dotted the darkness, casting eerie shadows. The floor stretched out like a sea of obscurity, seeming to swallow all sound. The atmosphere was imposing, giving the impression that it held secrets better left undisturbed. Despite its size, the room was Raven's, and if someone chose to hide within, they could easily evade detection. Without giving the man's sudden disappearance a second thought, Raven made his way to the door and opened it. He knew immediately who was on the other side, as the familiar shadow was unmistakable - it was his mother's. She was a kind and caring woman who always prioritized teaching her children kindness above all else. Raven adored her and relished any opportunity to spend time with her; she was the only person in the family he truly liked. As he opened the door, he saw his mother holding a small basket of chocolates. Maria noticed that Raven had opened the door, and she immediately bent down to his level. "You wanted these chocolates, right? Here you go, but don't tell your sister, or she'll start complaining again," she whispered softly. Erza, Raven's sister, had recently been prohibited from eating sweets by the doctor, so the family had been avoiding them entirely - even chocolate, which was Raven's favorite. Upon hearing the news, he had shut himself away in the dark room, feeling very upset. But look at his, he had only just thrown the tantrum and his mother brought him an entire basket of chocolates. "You're only allowed to eat one per day, understand?" Maria instructed. Raven nodded obediently before heading back into his room and placing the basket on a nearby table. Maria, seeing that Raven was occupied with the chocolates, decided not to disturb him any further and quietly left the room, closing the door behind her. Keefe raced through several rooms and corridors, almost slipping on a turn, but he continued his sprint until he reached a grand door. Bursting through it, he found a man with fragile porcelain skin sitting inside. With a plaintive tone, Keefe revealed the devastating news, "Raven! They killed her. Erza is dead!" Raven was astounded, "She is dead? How can that be?" This occurred several years after Raven's first encounter with the black-clad man. Raven had already grown into an adult, but he still possessed a delicate appearance with fair skin that starkly contrasted with his dark hair and piercing eyes. Although he looked fragile, his sharp features hinted at a hidden strength. His chiseled jawline and prominent cheekbones conveyed a sense of sharpness, while his bright and intense eyes exuded a penetrating gaze. Despite his delicate appearance, Raven carried himself with quiet confidence and precision. His cunning demeanor suggested he was always analyzing and should not be underestimated. It appears that Raven needs to start working diligently to address all the impending calamities.
