[William’s POV]
I stare up at the large building in front of me, wondering why exactly I came here when I knew that it would be counterproductive to what Austin and I had already done. Maybe it was because, despite the distance between us, I couldn’t stop thinking of her. Or maybe it was because of what I just learned. Either way, the minute the interrogation with Bianca was over, I snuck out and came straight here while hoping that Austin didn’t decide to follow behind me.
Looking around, I once again confirm that he isn’t anywhere to be seen before turning my gaze to the building again.
As I just stand here on the street, staring like a fool, I can feel many eyes burning into me, their gazes filled with unease and questioning while I’m certain they wonder what the hell I am doing.
