Zadie's POV
I came to in a hospital room hooked up to an IV. The last thing I remember was getting all our warriors back to Stone River because we were under attack. I sat up quickly, ripping the IV out of my arm. I need to get out there. I need to check on everyone. I still have Alden's pack members and more of our warriors to get back here.
"Woah, woah. Calm down," I heard Rex frantically say, standing from the chair that was pressed up against my bed. "I have to go. I've got to get back," I said as I tried to get up off the bed before my legs gave out from under me. Luckily, Rex was there to catch me before I hit the ground.
